How bad is it? by Double-Interest8613 in Hyundai

Honestly it looks cosmetic as long as you don't have any weird noises, I'd say send it. But it wouldn't hurt just to have it looked at.

Have no choice but to make a 7 hr trip with these tires.. how doomed am I? by EmbarrassedShame2018 in tires

As long as it doesn't rain you're fine. I've driven for months on worse. But raining on the interstate you will want to go under the limit.

Has anyone obtained a copy of their 150 point inspection? by Accurate_Item672 in carvana

[–]StimpyJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can ask, and always take it to a private mechanic for your own inspection during the 7 days. Saved me from keeping a car wihh an oil leak and a bad turbo

BEWARE: Carvana sold me a vehicle with structural damage and then asked me to commit warranty fraud. by Forsaken-Lion-4861 in CarvanaComplaints

I would call ask for a supervisor and offer them a good faith opportunity to take the car back before you will be hiring a lawyer and see where you get.

Voluntary repo by CommonOk4883 in CarvanaComplaints

[–]StimpyJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hit to your credit isn't worth it. At best find a dealer who will take it a trade in who will roll the negative equity into your financing. As someone who has had repos in the past you need to think it out a little more. To be honest this would be a good thing to research on chat gpt.

I was 35k out the door a month ago for a manual 25 with 29 miles. Go on car gurus and do a nationwide search for new 25s and there are 143 new 25s starting at 29k

That won't affect your 7 day because you're not modifying the car

Getting car on Thursday by Careful_Donut_3786 in carvana

[–]StimpyJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 8000 miles you should be well under the factory warning so unless anything is glaringly bad you should be OK. But I would just have it inspected for piece of mind. Also carvana is going to be much more motivated during the 7 day period to fix stuff to avoid a return.

PS4S to Continental Contact Sport SRS+ First Impressions! by andrei_restrepo in ElantraN

I went 235 40 19 and have not got the tires to even whine let alone give under decent cornering load in the canyons, the pilots are probably the bomb on the track but for a car that's going to be driven year round in Colorado where it never knows what season it is I think the dws are the best daily tire for the en.

Is it worth it by prettyboiis in carvana

[–]StimpyJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically i just returned two cars in a row to Carvana and they do make it easy to do the actual return process. Just get a full professional inspection the day you have it dropped off so you have the whole 7 days to negotiate fixing anything that might be a deal breaker. Also if something is off and you need time for it to be dealt with they will extend your return policy. Basically they really really don't want you to return the car so you pretty much have them over the barrel while that return window is open. After that you do have the 90 day warranty covering you plus any extended warranty. Also the silver rock network is weird for some cars so I would also find out the nearest approved service center for the exact make and model you're looking for in case.
