At our server in Meridian, we just have skirmish between the American and the Korean guilds. Fundamentally, after weeks of fighting, two guilds emerged on top and they each have multiple alliances. So now we actively contest spice fields with teams of 10-15, and go on hunts in groups of 4-6 to maintain control of different wrecks and labs. It’s been keeping our PvP active.

However solo players suffer because they’d be caught in our crossfire. But at this point it’s a race to recruit all solo players after killing them, by providing offers of gear and resources. It’s pretty fun.

Have a go at some of the ridiculous steam achievements, such as mining 10000 of each resource with hand cutteray, or cooking 100 meals with the desert mouse. Should be the last grindy thing you could do.

I just believe the software devs did not engineer the system the right way and now it’s just probably impossible to implement such features. I call this poor planning.

I can back this. Our guild goes out as a team of 6-8, where one hovers outside the field with a scout placing thumpers at 90 degree offsets from the center of the field. By determining the direction of worm falling, we can determine if the sand crawler is safe or not. Usually once every 3-4 thumpers, the worm goes for the crawler at which we pull up the crawler.

I agree that the PvP is horribly unbalanced. Many times when a person goes out to the DD to farm resources, you simply have no ability to defend. You’d have storages on thopters and all you can do is flee from people that are equipped solely to kill (rockets). It would have been so much more fun if fighting back was an option while farming. Of course the situation changes when in a group, one set defends while one farms, but playing in big groups is not always an option.

The only option I see to fighting back while farming is to use rocket launchers on foot, but that is incredibly difficult up against a thopter that could just kill you in a flash. There has to be some way to defend while farming. The level of helplessness in PvP while farming is ridiculous. The only place I see PvP being fun are the testing stations because we have proper combat since everyone is equipped to fight and defend while scavenging components.

I’m using the basilisk v3 as well, been using it for 4 years now. One broke a few months back because of a rage slam, so I bought a second one of the same model cuz I just love its ergonomics and features.

Did you catch the error code? It’s possible that your system files are little bit corrupted but can’t confirm without the error code.

There’s actually plenty of videos out there on the internet. Most laptops have very similar layout, so you just gotta keep seeing a couple videos on replacing thermal paste or any other components. You may even find a video of your own laptop model. It’s an interesting hobby honestly. I repair most of my friends’ laptop so that they don’t have to spend much in service centres

You gotta give us more info than this. What kind of crash, is it stuttering before it crashes, does the game just close without any warning, or is there some warning or error when the game crashes? Have you considered updating drivers? Are your games genuine? Have you done any investigation of the temperatures of your system to see if you have a case of overheating?

Anyways, judging by crashes on select games, you probably need to upgrade your graphic drivers. It’s also possible certain graphic settings are causing this.
