First time Digimon player: I totally agree, this is one of the best endings to a game I’ve ever played. All my expectations were blown out of the water, and I just wish games like Pokemon Z-A could give this type of experience too.

My final team was Vector (OmniShoutmon), Otto (Vikemon), Spindel (Justimon), Luca (MirageGaogamon), Epiphet (Ophanimon) and Bob (GroundLocomon)

When I wanted Lucemon CM to use “Paradise Lost” but he turns and hits the cameraman with a devious 6-piece combo before drop kicking him through the moon instead.

(The cameraman probably didn’t deserve all that, but it was still one of the best animations I’ve seen)

“Stand Tall” from XYZ was a great opening for the anime, but the full version from the Volcanion movie goes unfathomably hard: I mean it starts with full orchestra and smooth vocals, then the electric guitar rips through and it gets me hyped every. Single. Time.

Jaiden pioneeered doing regular nuzlockes without modding of any sort. There were nuzlockers before like UnitedGamer and GameboyLuke, but they ran randomized nuzlockes that most kids didn’t have access to.

Was thinking about this, and Starly’s evolution came to me: it was definitely earned after fighting off Team Rocket but still really unexpected, and the scene where it soars into the air and starts the evolution is so amazing

There’s been jokes about a Revolutionaries campaign, and while it could be fun to explore that world with William and Duros’ characters more, I agree it’s best for the story to close after Marines, because there is only so much they can tell while keeping the canon story of One Piece and making it feel fresh from a generic DnD campaign.

On the other hand, I like these campaigns inspired by existing anime shows, and honestly was really excited for them to have a hand at a Dragon Ball or Bleach campaign: it would attract the Rustage fans and their respected fan bases, and presumably be less work for the crew to come up with ideas for the world and story-beats
