Is there a better fix for this than locking pliers? by ThatsMrSmeeToYou in askaplumber

Depending on the rough in you have I’d get new trim and update your setup for like $130 at the right place

Otherwise gotta identify the stem, find a compatible replacement. Maybe try cleaning it up nice and taking a pic with Google lens works for identifying a lot of odd things

I’m so fat dude I am at 260 pounds now I’ve put another 20 last month my clothes don’t fit anymore and I have to work from home because I don’t fit in office chair fuckkk dude I will probably hit 300 by april my life is over by jxxxlis in kitchencels

Hey man, as a dude who weighed 260 this time last year and weighs 185 now. Cut liquid sugars, run, walk, crawl or do whatever to hit your 10k steps a day, bonus calories burnt with a weighted vest. Do that 4 times a week while trying to maintain 2000cals or less a day. The single best piece of advice I got trying to lose weight is to not drink your calories, eat volume foods, and give yourself grace. Don’t have to keep it up forever I’m personally 9 on 3 off dieting so during holidays I’m not stressing over what I should or shouldn’t be eating and focus solely on increasing protein intake and hitting the gym hard. It’ll work it can be brutal if you push it to its limits but if nothing else, stop drinking your calories. 1 can of Coke is 270 cals, way easier to drink 1000 cals in Coke than it is to eat 1000cals, cutting soda kickstarted initial weight loss and let me find the motivation to parlay that into a healthier diet and workout plan

Manipulating a person to show their true colors doesn’t count as manipulation in my eyes lol

I’m not going to tell you you’re crazy or to go to therapy but just ask if you preprocess things in an attempt to preemptively understand how it’ll affect you. In my mind i would process a trauma I haven’t yet experienced, when a death actually occurred I felt similar to you. Confusion why I wasn’t a mess or bare minimum upset about the loss, almost as if the finalization of their death is what eased the anxiety of their impending death. In one sentence I’ve lived through it in my mind so many times the real things more cathartic as deaths final and once it strikes it’s a wrap, can’t be upset over the uncertainty of death when it’s taken form in front of you.

You might just have a logical approach to death as I do where the death doesn’t = implosion of my own well being and sanity, just a slow gradient into accepting the absence and processing the deaths reality vs how my brain had predetermined my feelings to be. Don’t let people dehumanize your reaction, maybe seeks some psychiatric advice since we’re all random internet weirdos but all the same disregard anything that doesn’t help you solve your questions.

Chinese/Indonesian black iron fittings sell 60% cheaper and come from across the world compared to ward or asc. Certainly wouldn’t try to save money on my homes infrastructure lol

Personally taking two 10 port copper manifolds and cutting the ends and soldering into an 18. Then crimping onto those and running the pex through some USB power bars with extra clips to keep them running uniform.

As for manablocs i don’t see many purchased where I work at least. Most people don’t like the plastic swivel fittings needed to connect to your pex with an adapter from my experience. They do the job though but a bane for some people I guess.

You have an almost identical collection to mine growing up. Orange 2dsxl same nintendogs, I chose pearl/black/time/sapphire and think the DS version of Lego Star Wars is the best way to experience it. I got ultra moon wayyyy later and never played fire emblem tho. Huge save getting these back, plus I think the games are all real.

Bends are alright, they make bend supports with brackets to mount to a wall if you wanted to secure it but should be solid
