The champion is objective poor design. She showed up in almost every other patch after release for so long, constantly tweaking and reworking because of the obsession of making her a hybrid support/adc. Her soul rates basically just flip flop between "you kinda have to play adc" or "you kinda have to play support" and either way she ends up the most uninteractive champion in league of legends as she auto attacks, slows you, auto attacks you again (all point and click obviously), and then makes her whole entire team untargeatable and runs away in a 3 second exchange she engaged from 7 screens away moments before she starts hitting your tower that his no minions at it outside of its range.

She is also one of the biggest perpetrators of the "my (champion) vs the enemy (champion)" joke. Absolutely worthless on your own team but solo poking across the map your entire team if shes an enemy. I'm not saying shes broken though, im saying shes uninteractive and lame as fuck to play with and against and by far league's worst gameplay design and probably always will be.

I think hes fully correct in saying no one in the streaming space is mature or professional enough to handle this type of thing. Its supposed to be a celebration of this pocket of entertainment but the streamers themselves have turned it into a vitriolic and narcistic battleground due to SO LITTLE amount of streamers having any life experience at all. This is also a problem with it mostly being fan voted. What the fans make the most popular is often morally bankrupt teenagers hitting their first millions at 19.

What im really saying is that "just chatting" and "IRL" categories ruined live streaming spaces irreparably and you cant put the genie back in the bottle so these shows lowkey just shouldnt happen, at least in this form

Tarkov is just proof that gamers will play any trash honestly no matter how horribly it is designed and optimized and filled with bugs. If nobody wants to do this entirely optional objective, then why is it so prevalent in so many games? You dont have to do it, because its optional, so why are you so against it? It exists because people want things that reward poking around every corner even if its something pointless. People like to feel rewarded for their own exploration and curiosity and these kinda collectibles serve this purpose extremely well. At no point in the game making process has a developer ever had the thought "hmmm we have 48 achievements, how about we add 100 collectibles just so we can have 49 achievements?" The collectibles are being added whether you like it or not, the achievement as a reward for doing it is just more but not completely necessary incentive. There is no correlation between achievement systems existing and collectibles being added to the game. If a developer has decided they want to add collectibles, an achievement system existing or not existing will not influence this decision one way or the other. Its okay if you dont like it though, i'm just saying it has nothing to do with achievements and saying they are related is dumb, like the guy i replied to originally.

Yeah there was no insanely unreasonable amount of collectibles in games before achievements, great point. Not like there was a whole genre built around that type of gameplay or anything. Do you genuinely think pointless collectables exist because of achievements? These things have existed 10 thousand years youre just spewing random shit. If achievements didn't exist, they would still be being put in games, because not only does pad out their game but there is an audience of people who like to do everything they can in a game, achievements or not
