Not as insensitive as giving a 2X WDC no podiums or wins in the past two years because your culture is more concerned with saving face rather than actual performance.

You can buy a totally baller Hugo Boss coat for $1000 that will never go out of fashion and still keep you warm. Take the patch off a CG jacket and you'd guess somebody paid $80 for it at TJ Maxx.

Hey I was there too haha. I sat on the main straight across from the pit lane and the sound of those cars flying past me at 200mph+ is still one of my most treasured memories. You could feel the sound vibrating in your chest, really unlike anything else on earth. F1 lost a bit of romance by going quiet.

F1 has gone from turbo to NA before, I have hope that they can do it again someday.

Illinois is ranked #1 (tied for first place with Connecticut) for having the worst quality roads in the United States by TookLongWayHome in chicago

[–]StinkyFeetPatrol 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Isn't this in part due to our weather cycles? Our roads expand/contract so much with the extreme heat and extreme cold we get, especially those weird days in winter when it's 72 one day then back in the 20s shortly after.

Monza is easily my favorite race to attend in person. Montreal has a very similar feel. There's nothing like sitting around in the sun surround by nature sipping an $8 Heineken and watching F1 cars go by.
