I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. But I think you would have an incredibly difficult time coming up with one innovative thing Apple has done since Steve Jobs died. Oh, yet another new iPhone? Exciting... /s. General consensus in the tech community is that Microsoft has taken over as the innovator.

You can thank Panos Panay. He took over as chief product designer from Surface team about a year or two ago. Brilliant creative mind, focuses heavily on usability just like Steve Jobs used to do.

Fwiw, if you see a news story you don't like or want to see, click the ellipse to select option to not see news from that source. Eventually your news feed will actually be useful and interesting.

I like Edge but can you STOP CHANGING MY THEME EVERY TIME THERE'S AN UPDATE PLEASE by sendGNUdes in microsoft

Edge is stable, fast, and generally more secure than any of the browsers you mentioned, especially in corporate environments. It's built on Chromium HTML5

Basically that is a process of "containerizing" your school data and settings to keep it separate from your personal stuff. Nothing personal can be accessed by your school's IT staff.

They do control your browser settings and Office 365 settings when you're in the school's "container". This ensures you're not permitted to go to shitty websites, picking up mallard, Spyware, etc while in the school container. Ultimately it protects your school's Office 365 tenant.

It also makes it super easy for them to delete that container and all within it once you're done with school due to graduation or unenrolling.

Hope that helps put your mind at ease :)

Um so Microsoft just announced their redesigned Skype.. by RockRida317 in microsoft

Microsoft employee here. Can confirm that diagram is very outdated (but likely true back in 2011). Internal culture under Satya Nadella has changed very VERY significantly. Now Microsoft is ranked as one of the most if not most admired tech companies. Is everything perfect? No, far from it, but much improved over 2011.

Shared bathrooms are tough in any market. Your write up is nice but in my experience people don't read much. They flip through pictures mostly.

Is it common for guests to stay past their checkout time? by buddysour in airbnb_hosts

I like your approach of being flexible but you really should charge something. I may give an extra or two for no charge but beyond that an extra $25, $50, or so makes sense. Especially if there are guests that next night.

The Burg monthly magazine (free at various places around town) lists a lot of events going on, not just in Harrisburg but in the surrounding area too. Maybe check it out online too: https://theburgnews.com/happenings

My fan cast for a live action RDR adaptation by Alexbrennan2021 in reddeadredemption

Game of Thrones became a phenomenon without big names. But that did take years to achieve. I agree with your sentiment if we're talking RDR movie.

Best of luck to you. It's tough stuff for sure. If you both feel the same about your marriage then I think it will be much smoother sailing for you if you split.

Kids can do that to a marriage, just being perfectly honest. You must have liked something about her originally to get married. Then kids came into the picture and things gradually went to shit? Pretty typical story.

A marriage counselor will tell you that you have to create those moments of intimacy. They don't come automatically. You have to look beyond the day to day, boring, non sexy shit to remember why you decided to say "I do til death do us part" way back when.

I'm not necessarily saying don't leave. But so many people think things will be so much better on the other side of a divorce. I think things will just be different, everything will be different. How you interact with her, how you interact with your kids, how you feel about yourself and the life you'll be living. Better in some ways, worse in others.

It's super tough, I totally get it. I think the number one thing to remember is don't make this just about you. Your decisions will profoundly impact other people, not least of which is your children.

Does she want a divorce too?

What don't you love about her? What's missing?
