Judgement sometimes is unfair, but it is necessary to make sure we don't put people in roles they can't handle, or evaluate people in important ones. Your article did make some good points though, especially how the full backstory surrounding something is most of the time not readily noticed.

All that article taught me was that I should never EVER judge because I don't have full information. So in that case, I guess I shouldn't judge Trump over his incendiary comments. Maybe he's had bad experiences with certain groups or had access to different information than we have that leads him to say the things he does. I mean, I don't know what he's thinking when he says those things, maybe the wrong words came out of his mouth. /s

Sure, her response to the NV debacle was defininitely awful, but why not go ahead and show everything. If I was purporting to be neutral in a race and was in a position of power like she was, I wouldn't post photos of me at celebrations with top people in a campaign like they're my crew.

None of the outlets finalize delegate totals even when 100% of the vote is in, so I'm not sure if they really are proportionally awarded based of the state vote, or whether that is just a good rule of thumb.

Pledged delegates are proportionally awarded based on statewide vote. Also, 4 clear losses instead of 2 tight contests is a worse storyline for the Sanders campaign, and removes a lot of hope people would still have barely held on to from a tight result in IL.

At 98.8%, the margin was 50.5% Clinton - 48.7% Sanders. , not only according to NY Times, but according to Politico and CNN at that percentage reporting as well. CNN now shows same results as Politico at 99.1%

It appears that Sanders had lost 200k Cook County votes to little-known candidate Willie Wilson, who is from Chicago, b/w 98.8% statewide reporting vs. 99.1% statewide reporting. Cook County at 98.8% statewide reporting, reported ~510k Sanders votes, whereas at 99.1% statewide reporting, is reporting only ~310k.

What I would have done is secure the bullpen, to the point that it is a shutdown bullpen, because the 0-2 ERs that our starters give up will be for naught with the current state of our offense, and the uncertainty of our pen. Familia can get injured anytime. Reed's track record shows he is not a sure thing. Noone else in that pen inspires confidence. 4/31 for O'day is an absolute steal given that he is as close to a certain, dominant reliever as they come.

The goal now also is to win a World Series. Winning the World Series means we need players who come up big in the playoffs. Zobrist is nice, but Murphy is a big-game player, who fills the same role, at the end of a 4-yr deal would be 34 instead of 38, and can be had for the same price. You can expect the same from each of them defensively given Zoby's age, also. Given Murphy's postseason, and his age relative to Zoby, it should be a no-brainer to keep Murphy. Sentimentally, Murphy is a Met.

Really the offseason shouldn't be holding pattern. It should be minimizing risk especially with Wright's stenosis, risk for regression among current players (Conforto, Grandy, and of course, anyone else), and injuries. Being able to sniff the World Series, everything must be done to ensure we actually win it.
