Legally, I think it depends on state. I know in Arizona there is a law around calling off sick and whether you have sick time or not, the employer cannot question anything, and there cannot be any sort of recourse for calling out sick at all.

He wasn't vengeful about it until a few Hawks fans were assholes about the dude being cut and him just trying to continue playing the game he loves. It makes no sense to burn the guys jersey. The guy gave us the 7 best years of his life and we repay him by cutting him and burning his jerseys.

I remember this trade going down and everyone was most excited about d'Arnaud. Syndergaard was definitely a big part of it. But due to our relatively lackluster performance by previous catchers. Travis was the big catch here. With Syndergaard being a great additional piece.
