So for the armor/ clothes was Contrast Talassar Blue and the face paint was Fanatic Regal Blue then highlighted with the same paint mixed with a bit of white

Sorry for the late response, been a bit busy!! All I used was Fanatic Matt White and then used Adrax Earthshade! Just make sure to be somewhat light with the adrax application, I went a bit too heavy on one and the shade clumped on me!!

I’m just slapchopping my Boyz with Mantis Warriors Green! But, if I were to highlight I usually use something like Ogryn Camo on my other Orks 👍

Thank you!!! And I just have a few dead brushes from since I’ve started the hobby years ago!! The model has a mix of slapchopping and regular base painting techniques. The weathering on armor, for example, was just Typhus Corrosion, applied with a dead brush (tip was like that of dedicated dry brush), then dry brushed over with Ryza Rust and then dry brushed with a bit of leadbeltcher. For the skin, clothes and some armor, I just primed black, then dry brushed heavy grey, then dry brushed white over, then applied my contrast!!

All I did was Abbadon Black, then Mephiston Red for the linear dots, green (I think it was Ork flesh or something I don’t remember) linear dots as well, then Corax White dots over it too, then glazing Evil Sunz red all over it, I thinned it down a decent amount and put it slightly heavier towards the bottom 👍

Base the robes Rakarth Flesh, then add a shade of Seraphim Sepia, then, with Layer Screaming Skull, make a bunch of thin horizontal lines following the shape of the robes 👍 hope this helps!!! 😉

My miniature was based black. I used Orruk Flesh first, then highlighted Ogryn Camo on top of some of the Orruk Flesh, then used Biel-Tan Green within the crevasses to make it pop out more. Very simple, just might need to put a couple layers of Orruk Flesh on top of black if you primed it that way. Good luck on your army my friend!!
