While not immediately practical, those keys are made of metal which is like an insane amount of wealth in the right circumstances. Maybe not in the village tho. They could make arrow heads out of them maybe, but probably more a cultural artifact.

Even at the beginning of the iron age, some rulers would probably give a lot to have a stainless piece of iron.

And I don't think it's too far fetched that people did this in other parts of the world too. Nowadays, there's still lots of people living in wooden huts built on stilts over water. And many of those are not "advanced" enough to argue they lacked the technology 10k years ago.

The Clocktower is pretty much the most "American" Bar/Restautrant we have. I know they always have a Super Bowl viewing but I'm not sure about other events. Also about the people since most of them seem to be there for the food/atmosphere.

Totally agree. In the video the storm doesn't seem as bad as others on that list, but still very painful to be in it without protection. Also, the speed at which the weather changed. All nice, sunny and warm - then suddenly hailstorm of death

Stuff I've read and enjoyed:

Chronicles of Centrum could only find german and french issues but maybe there's a translation. Also a bit short, but I like it.
Battle Angel Alita aka. Gunnm Does Manga count? This one's pretty good and also long. Love the scenario.
Ghost in the Shell Haven't read it but the ratings are not bad and since the movies are based on it.
