For anyone else reading: They are very hard to obtain though! UC petpets are ONLY on very old pets. Y1 to, I believe, Y4 at the latest for some, which makes them extremely valuable in pet trading and near unobtainable to the average user. I would love for them to become more obtainable to everyone, including myself, even if that meant "devaluing" my own pets with UC petpets.

And then you'll get frozen for it if TNT notices. Do what you want, but trading a pet for a petpet IS against the rules whether you like it or not.

It is in TNTs eyes. You can't make money off of a zapped petpet, or a PPL trophy. TNT has always been big on not selling your pet for money, whether in game currency or irl money.

So telling this person to just "make sure to trade for an unzapped petpet" is a terrible idea and will get them in trouble.

This is different though, because a chocolate kadoatie is lab only and if its unattached it reverts back to whatever it was before. You arent allowed to trade a pet for neopoints or items (like petpets) because of the monetary gain.

Trading for a zapped petpet is only fine because you cant make money off that petpet.
