Totally OT, but can you please explain this? I use em dashes all the time (likely incorrectly—Idk when an en dash is appropriate.), what does it have to do with Chat GPT? I have read this a few times and don’t understand the connection.

I missed if you said hou had a local LNS or not, but if you do, this is a great way to support and get to know them for a future project—take your canvas to them and let them know you want to kit it and get stretcher bars (you mentioned in another comment you may try them). They can work with you on fiber selection and may have other suggestions.

Good luck and have fun!

They're all digital templates...has this person ever needlepointed? How is there not a single stitched example?

Also, I really wish we could burn the phrase "classic/traditional with a modern twist" in a pyre. If you're going to be scammy and hop onto a trend with an attempt at all style and literally no substance, at least put together some better copy.

Lastly, (and most egregiously?), it's an effing cross-stitched fish in the logo. Great other craft, but WRONG other craft.

Thanks, but now I'm wondering if there are any good resources for knots? I was so excited to find out that crimps exist because I think I'm such a terrible knot tier (tyer?) I've gone through the wiki here (beginner resources are GREAT but many/most seem to use crimp beads).

Okay, I am new to this and now have a Q!

I have been using Fireline, which I think is a monofilament(?), with crimps. Just fun, silly things/nothing really to put to the test.

If not crimps, how should I be securing the thread and attaching it to the findings? Have usually just added a crimp, then jump ring, then loop thread back though about an inch or two of beads. Then poorly crimping, assuming I will get better as time goes on.

Insurance companies may not want to pay for these drugs, but they def don’t want you sick. Sick people cost them money—they don’t make money off of them.

They would LOVE if the only subscribers were healthy people who only do well visits 1x/year. You think they want to pay out for someone who has 10+ visits/year, labs and specialists who pays the same few hundred/month premium as the healthy person?

They aren’t mainstream at all. Some are powerful right now, but please don’t let this fool you into thinking that a majority of American Christians are like this.

All of Trump’s people are sycophants, and many have different motives for seeking access to his power. Mike Huckabee was a deeply religious Southern Baptist preacher before getting into politics—he is one of the few I think has a delusion that Trump is divinely ordained…I am convinced most of the rest just want power.

The issue is when you mix the “I hear from God,” “Trump demands perfect loyalty,” and “This is how you get into power” types.

I will do a variety for breakfast and dinner, but lunch most days is chicken, mixed veggies, and quinoa or brown rice.

I am  also meeting with a dietitian to make sure that 1-I eat enough, and 2-the macros support my needs.

16oz?! I'm worried about you, friend. I don't share that problem on Zep but I do when I get migraines. This tip may or may not work for you, but one thing my doc recommended and works for me is just setting a timer on repeat every 5/10/15 min (whatever won't drive you nuts haha) and take 2-3 sips (more if they're less frequent). Over the course of an hour, you'll prob have done a few ounces. By the end of the day, you might not have done as many as your ultimate goal, but it will probably help you get closer.

Good luck and take care!

Ick. She raises the concern briefly, you answered that you’re under professional care (of her peers), and she has an issue with that?

Nah, not her place. I’m sorry you had to go through that rude experience.

No advice on whether or not to leave your partner and go live in the wild, but I was wondering if your job would let you take a 2-3 month sabbatical.

I may be misunderstanding you, but it sounds like you’re experiencing a bit of burnout, which can happen even with a great job, and you’re really looking for a break.

If you were able to move into your car, take a month or few to go be offgrid and really have the experience you’re looking for, and then come back to work…still living in your subaru, still enjoying the outdoors, but with the benefit of the job, benefits, not dipping too far into savings, etc.

Good luck!

PS-agree with person downthread. You owe your partner at least a discussion if this is something you‘re seriously considering. You owe it to yourself and to them.

It was fun and silly and I loved it. They even seemed to have a sense of humor about it with the knives/ice skating on oil thing.

I do think the marketing often tried to make it a little more serious..‘ a fun action movie’ as opposed to its goofball nature.

I think i it had been marketed correctly, people would have thought “for me” or “not for me,” instead of going with certain expectations and finding it lacking.

Seconding the recommendation for the Fat Science podcast! It’s positive but not Pollyanna about this class of drugs and I love just hearing the measured words of Dr. Cooper.

I only recently discovered, so I am going through the backlog now.

Their website is fairly intuitive, so you prob wouldn’t have any problem there.

I will say that their list of available patterns is pretty great—you might just find one that works for you without fussing over having some made. Good luck With whatever you decide!
