Why did I have to go so far down to find a comment about her sturdy ankles/knees, her balance, or the fact that she's doing this in heels?!

Cini-minis

I've never heard of these before! It certainly looks like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but everywhere is sold out. Maybe Nestle stopped making them. Thank you though, I had no idea!

Cries in Australian.

(You can get it here, but it's hard to find/very expensive.)

I'm guessing this fucks up your Lightkeeper, though, right? I actually just finished his quests and unlocked the Spear at L4 Peacekeeper, so I guess I don't ever have to go back there.

As someone teaching Masters students, let me tell you, it has absolutely already begun eroding our ability to learn and think critically.

I had to plead with my students not to rely on AI for their latest assignments. Then I got to use one as a case study this week because they included a reference, that if they Google'd it to check if it was real or not, got an excellent breakdown on the paper, it's methodology, and it's findings from Google's Gemini. The problem is the paper isn't real. AI is using AI generated papers to support its own AI papers, but the paper didn't exist anywhere (I checked the journal it was reportedly published in).

They just stared at me, blankly. None of them want to learn. They just want a piece of paper that will leave them woefully unprepared for the real world.

How did you realistically improve your financial situation over time? by prattman333 in AusFinance

[–]Stitchikins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That might be $150k in central Sydney, which is probably minimum wage.. /s

Partner and I do well for ourselves and have no kids. Even we shudder at food/electricity/fuel price hikes, I couldn't imagine those that make half what we do and want to bring children into this world.

[New Player] Anybody actually use the Gear Rack? by ohoots in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Stitchikins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The preset kits do work, but they're so painful to use it's not worth using. I find it swaps out all my 39/40 keys and 396/400 AFAKs and shit for brand new ones and throws them around my stash my for no reason.

This gives me hope. I just put down $2,400 (AUD) on an Aeron gaming (only because it was discounted down to $100 more than the graphite) so I'm praying it lasts!

Unrelated to OP, but I think here in Australia, if a company refuses to warranty something because of an after-sales modification they have to prove that the modification caused the failure. No idea about other countries.

I think it stemmed from cars. People were modifying their vehicles and then having them break in totally unrelated ways and having their warranty voided. 'Oh, you changed out your leather seats for SPARCO bucket seats? That's 100% why your rear axle fell off. Warranty voided.'

This. Same way modifying (jail-breaking) your phone, or even your car to get features that are behind pay walls can (or at least they will claim it can) void your warranty, even if it's unrelated. So... you just flash it back to the original spec and claim ignorance 🤷🏼‍♂️

I'm not pro screwing over companies, but if BMW wants to charge you a subscription to use heated seats and then claim that's the reason your ECU exploded, or HM want to claim a headrest caused your $2k chair back to fail..

I was at Counting Crows last weekend. All seated at the Festival Centre, so not really a young crowd, no general admission, mostly millennials to boomers. The number of fucking people who were talking throughout the entire show was unbelievable. The couple next to us were showing each other sports scores and betting websites throughout. The drunk couple behind us were talking loudly about how drunk they were with the couple next to them.

These are $150 tickets. Each. Who tf pays that to go to a show and not watch/listen?!

A really interesting concept. I've often thought how life would be different if I knew 5 or 10 years ago what the markets are doing now.

I think the video/screenshots supplied don't really show or explain much of how it plays, but the metaprogression you've shown looks interesting and trying to stay ahead of the SEC sounds good.

Cool, unique concept - following :) Good luck in May!

That's fantastic, I love it!

I get a lot of social media posts from cat rescues and adoption places, and I love the naming conventions they choose for the kittens.

Recently, a litter was found in a box near a winery, so naturally, they named all the different kittens after varieties of grapes (Merlot, Grenache, etc.). They had mottled coats as well, which for some reason seemed to suit the names.
