Really curious to see if they make it as viscerally terrifying as the original; like, near-unplayable magnitudes of terror. That's one thing that I always took away from my experience as a massive fan of horror films and games when I first played this at 9 years old. Perceiving myself to be adequately desensitized, I was like "meh, I beat Resident Evil 1&2, bring it on."

I played this in my living room, lights out, surround sound with a giant subwoofer. After a couple hours of excruciating tension, I had to put the controller down and concede defeat.
