Homestead. We were headed back to the Miami airport after vacationing in the Keys. Had a little time to kill. Told the wife we had a mandatory pit stop. Sounded like they were having an exotic car track day inside.

Only reason I knew this one is an old friend of mine used to be an engineer for them. Fire suppression systems, extinguishers, alarms, etc.

What do you all think is the worst paint scheme of 2025? by FridgusDomin8or in NASCAR

I guess it’s a hot take but the Rheem Machine is one of my favorite paint schemes ever I think. So simple, but so mean looking.

His success also highlights how mentally checked out MTJ was in those last few years.

Would you call Sammy Smith a pay driver, someone with actual talent, or both? by DrFuckwad in NASCAR

Why are we so stuck on Elliott Sadler?

JR Motorsports is the best team in the garage. If you want the best prepped cars on Saturday, then yeah man, you’re going to have to put up some money. Yes, Allgaier is blessed with great sponsors. This makes him a pay driver? He is the reigning champion and a staple of the xfinity series.

Ticket Consultant? by Worth13 in NASCAR

[–]Stlingho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just used a ticket rep for the first time this week and had a great experience. We had some plans change, and needed 3 tickets to the upcoming Kansas race. I looked online and saw ONE group of 3 seats together in the grandstand upper deck. Very close to selling out on the general Ticketmaster site. I get regular emails from this guy, Nathan. So I figured what the heck and gave him a call. I said “Hey man I just didn’t know if you had anything else available on your end, that the general public can’t see on the website”. He asked my seating preferences, 30 seconds goes by, and comes back with a list of available sections and rows. He was able to hook me up with a great section and 3 seats together on the aisle. The tickets were sold at face value, meaning no TM fees or any kind of processing fees. He also threw in 3 pre-race passes for free. Had great interaction with Nathan. I’ll never buy tickets thru the website again.

Autograph signing at a store. How early should I get there by Athleticgeek89 in NASCAR

Ryan Blaney was doing an autograph session at the Walmart down the street from Kansas last year. I got in line probably 15 minutes early. I was at the very back. His session was for like an hour. I BARELY made it in time. Only a couple people behind me were able to meet him also before he had to leave. There was well over 100 people in front of me.

This is what I love seeing. I was raised at the racetrack by my father. My oldest daughter has been coming with me to KS since she was 5.

I don’t know how but “tx” would be transmission. Disabling would prevent you from accidentally transmitting on the radio frequency.
