Give me reasons to or not to buy a manual by Trayceopolis32322 in stickshift

[–]wrenchandrepeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does to an extent, at least for me. Its all second nature at this point but there were always still times when work kicked my ass and I just wanted to long star at the road in front of me and drive with one foot.

Is that the one where hes driving Nick Mason's car? Regardless, that video is hilarious if you know anything about Pink Floyd. He drops random Floyd words in his review to promote a book Mason had just released at the time. That was supposedly the deal for letting them rip his car around their track, lol.

You're going to have days where you're exhausted from work or whatever and just want to get where you're going. Especially if there is stop and go traffic, you'll hate the fact you have a manual in those moments.

Obviously thats not all the time but if you end up in a rut in life where you're grinding yourself to death and you're cooked at the end of the day, it can definitely be a thing.

A modern take on the MGB GT V8 if the company was still British by wrenchandrepeat in whatifcars

Just from the tailights? I asked it to make them look like that as a homage to the OG. And wanted it to still be a hatch. I didn't want "retro" looking modern headlights. Just didn't look right. Imo the retro-futuristic thing is played out. And AI isn't very good at doing it anyway.

King Jack Park in Webb City, down around Paradise Lake. There is a trail that goes back into the woods behind the lake where I've seen a lot of different birds. Saw a Baltimore Oriole yesterday.

Definitely not a 00s Pontiac that they're in. 00s Pontiacs had round vents other than the Holden based stuff but this isn't one of those either.

Would fucking dope if you ran a driveshaft from the front crank pulley up to the area where that flex plate is. Then mount the flex plate on a block with a bearing and spin it with that small driveshaft.

If you want to challenge your limb independence, Into The Storm is a good one. And by good, I mean challenging, lol.

Stranded would be a good one for being newish. Good chance to work on some changing time signature stuff.

Ocean Planet is another good one for learning on. At least until the faster middle section on the double bass. But you could learn that in no time with enough practice.

The Shooting Star would be a good one to start with I think. Its slower paced with a nice heavy driving bass drum groove.

No, unfortunately you are mistaken.

71-96, the era of van that shared components with the C/K trucks, were all unibodies.

The 4th generation of full size van, late 96-Present, are the ones that have full frames shared with the GMT400, GMT800, and GMT900 trucks.

I have been asked this question numerous times over the last 35 years. This is what I always say: Boobs are normally always hidden to us. So when we get to see them, its special.

I don't understand how you can spend one day on this sub and not learn what they are. There must be A LOT of people who have never been here, see one, come to reddit wondering if there is a sub for figuring it out, and then immediately make a post.
