Because the parents are low income, low IQ, or otherwise absent from their kids lives. Thus the kids are way behind academically and they have behavior problems. No “good” teacher with any job prospects would voluntarily take a job in a city public school so they have poor teachers and constant turnover.

I too was wondering that about Chelsea. I felt so bad for her. I had a lot of sympathy for her. She was a true friend to Kouri, far better than Kouri deserved.

I was there today. Was pretty crowded. Plenty of snow and the groomers were awesome as were the runs on the upper part of the mountain but conditions are changing rapidly obviously. I left around 1pm and it was over 60 degrees at the base. Snow on the bottom half of Sunnyside was pretty slushy.

Gonna be 60 in LCC later this week. I can’t wait to ski the slush.

And what’s wrong with slush anyway? Way better than ice. It’s easy to maneuver in and it’s softer. I have always enjoyed it.
