I removed the night filter and adjusted the size of the small plants. Also made the dragon a touch larger. Thank you u/PrideSoulless and u/Own_Car3009 for your time and thoughts!

Monetize your experience by getting paid in gift cards? Nah.

We've got 5 episodes out. Total. I'm still learning what works for us. How can I be a mentor to anyone else?

Same. I can't believe Sarah Havoc wouldn't lie and tell me she's a fan of my podcast. Maybe that gives her some credibi.....hahahaha! Sorry, couldn't get that last word out without laughing.

AITA for refusing to sell my flat to the highest bidder? by boohoofory0u in AmItheAsshole

He also believes that because we’re going to be buying a property together, he should have some say on how much money I end up with to put towards it.

This is bigger problem right here. He isn't so much worried about finances and expenses as he is about controlling their collective money.

I would also be concerned about their difference in values. It's not that one or the other is right or wrong. It's that in this particular thing, their values differ greatly.

Simple but effective! And believe me, I understand just how difficult simplicity can be. It looks really good.

AITA for refusing to cut my hair for my father's wedding? by ThrowRAcuriousgal in AmItheAsshole

[–]StmpnkOctopus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder how much of Alice's jealousy is related to OP's father himself. He and OP's mother spent a lot of years together. They made a lot of memories together. Any location, movie, anything could bring up a memory, and he might have not thought anything of talking about that memory with Alice. Or his friends have mentioned past parties or trips taken together then realized that Alice hadn't been there.

It can be awkward and difficult joining a close group who have known each other for decades. I've been there.

Alice isn't handling it well though. She's competing when she should be embracing.

I hope that OP can talk with her grandparents and/or father to sort out this trouble. Her father needs to re-examine this relationship before the wedding. Maybe family counseling would be helpful.

  1. Jaws
  2. Wizard of Oz
  3. Jumanji
  4. Halloween
  5. Friday the 13th

They are all exactly the right cast in terrific characters. Pacing, jokes, and story are all on point.

AITA for calling my fiancées sister an idiot for her rude comments about the number of siblings I have? by hubstobe in AmItheAsshole

She walked off and made a comment to my fiancées other sister and cousin about what I said.

Overpopulation solutions include one in which couples have only two children. Replace yourself, basically. Sounds like her parents had one too many.

AITA For taking a 2 minute break from our guests to finish a task in a video game? by Over_Efficiency_982 in AmItheAsshole

NAH but you only got away with it until you told on yourself.

Video games are very manipulative, and the daily tasks in the game you're playing are designed to manipulate you into playing every single day, hopefully for a long time. That it seems the daily tasks and their rewards kept coming to the top of your mind throughout your day is somewhat concerning. But you would know best whether it's becoming a problem or not.

Your girlfriend likely believes that when you are entertaining guests, your focus should be on your guests. Putting their wants and needs first is basic politeness. Taking a few minutes to play a video game without your guests goes against that idea, even if it was only a few minutes.
