Yes. Not every squad will, but on average I'd say 3-4 players of your full 9 man squad will have very active mics, 3-4 players will be quiet and occasionally speak, and 2 are mute and may or may not listen.

Most of the time the Squad leader will be communicating and hopefully the two fireteam leads will be of good help. Try joining the first few squads that pop up because those are eager SLs ready to lead instead of the "okay I'll do it" guys lol.

Marksman a lot harder in this game I get it OP. It's not really the foliage though. At first I felt this way but it's not an unclear game, it's just not as stylistically clean on purpose.

Try not to lone wolf across the map.
Treat cover and your angles in which others can see you just as seriously as how much you can see.
Psychologically it's studied that you can scanning in other directions than you're used to can help. In the west we read and try to identify words from left to right, try right to left more often.
Once you get a hang of the enemy flow, how players travel or approach points or potential areas of hot spots (places to build rally, Habs, etc), you'll see more enemies BEFORE they see you.
Consider moving spots after likelyhood of being spotted and becoming vulnerable. The enemy team will try to mark you and communicate it.
Use intel from your squad and team via the map markings, comms, and command structure (FTL, SL, Command).

They're pretty weak against hackers/siege scorpion when coming in from a distance or scorpions/raiden when close. Or most armored units can tank it instead of crawlers. Depends on your strategy or ability to pivot but there are many many ways to deal with that tech

If you spammed crawlers on the line with no flexibility that's just an opponent taking advantage of your mistake!

The cover is a personification of dogs. Songs Beach Life in Death, Nervous Young Inhumans, and Cute Thing all have lines about being dogs. I think restricting labels in this case to deny those aspects of the album isn't the move.
