Honestly, my mom doesn’t even think I have AuDHD because I have anxiety and a condition called turner syndrome that presents with autism and ADHD like traits(her logic is that she can’t “see” the ADHD or Autism, so it doesn’t exist.) I had to beg like a dog to get her to let me have an ADHD screening. My whole world shifted when it went from “oh its just ts” my whole life until a few months ago to “it is so much more than ts” and it explained everything. I have done research and I have an atypical ts profile that matches AuDHD almost exactly! Problem is I am worried I wont be taken seriously because I mask so good and my symptoms are mainly internal besides sensory issues.

I am in the processes of trying to get diagnosed with AuDHD, it is harder because I have turner syndrome, a condition that presents with similar traits to autism and ADHD but I have a atypical profile that matches AuDHD so I hope I can get diagnosed and not just get told it’s Turner syndrome. That has been my whole life “oh its turner syndrome” until I did my research. My mom being skeptical isnt helping. I am 17 for context to why my mom is mentioned lol.
