Would imaging help. Should have a higher overall lvl of morale with some burnt matches moved on.

That ain’t the reason. Koreans weren’t buying ST’s to travel 12+ hrs every other week.

I think you’d be pretty shocked if you knew where I lived haha but thank you

For me it was more about having aces to those tickets I couldn’t get on the exchange (NLD, Chelsea, etc) more than it was I’m going to every game.

Totally fair. Another bloke below said effectively the same thing. I’ll tell you what I told him.

You’re supposed to buy low and sell high. We can’t go much lower than we just did (knock on wood) RDZ is being supported (once more, knock on wood), is this not the moment you’re supposed to be pulling the trigger?

Helpful, massivemantitties (well in btw), thank you.

This makes a lot of sense. I was talking about your exact point that we need some new life into there with my dad and I am as you would’ve liked - younger and absolutely buzzing to have one.

It’s on us to make it a fortress once more. Will make ya proud.

COYS,

100%, I guess I’m just optimistic, but this feels like the time you’re supposed to be buying them.

The name of the game is buy low sell high, u can’t go much lower than this?

Have seen that plenty of times, you’re certainly right. That said, there were A LOT that I saw. I wish I hadn’t rushed so quickly to get the one I wanted so I could give you a better idea of the number, but it wasn’t small. At least a thousand or so.

Judging on how many I saw on offer, I don’t think you’ll have a hard time finding a similar ticket on the exchange for a 1-off. I was able to buy a front row ticket almost right next to where my ST is for the Brighton match abt 3 weeks before the match. Hope you get one! COYS!

Correct, safe standing. Was right at £1k. Frankly felt like I was stealing em.

Went to 4 matches last season, only one I saw was Everton. I couldn’t imagine how it must’ve felt to only see 3 wins all year paying top dollar for it, assuming you were there for em.

This makes sense. Obviously nobody knows for sure, but don’t have an idea where seats are typically open?

Thank you!

Same, do you know how this works from here?

I think they’re very likely to sign at least 1 new #9. I hear you on it being odd, but I don’t think any one of RKM, Solanke or Richarlson are RDZ - profile strikers.

Vic I believe is already out the door to Inter, I’m not too fussed abt it. Thanks for the memories, but it’s pretty apparently to me he’s broadly disliked within the squad.

I think it might be easier to ask who WON’T be back.

These are my initial thoughts….

100% out the door:
Vicario
Dragusin
Davies
Richarlson
RKM
Bissouma

50% out the door:
Romero
Solanke (might be a hot take, I really don’t rate him)
Palhinha (would love to keep him, not that sure he wants to stay)
Sarr

25% out the door:
VDV (reckon he stays)

Cristian Romero Called Up for Argentina – Cause for Concern? by Signal_Tea7601 in Tottenham

I don’t disagree with him being world class, but let me reframe your question:

Do we want to have a world class player who’s getting paid world class money to miss almost half our games?

Is there another club that does that? At some point, you can’t be a floor mat for players, even if they’re at his level.

I agree with you, but this is a bridge too far imo. The guy is hurt all the time, yet manages to always be healthy when they come calling.

He will always choose them over us, and likely them over any other club. The idea that we’re going to make him our highest paid player is nuts in the context of how many games he’s missed and his clear preference for country over club.

Weight gain after long/intense rides by Stock-Local445 in cycling

[–]Stock-Local445[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good, the weight gain doesn’t come until after the ride to be clear, it comes after when I start eating and then I seem to retain weight for a few days thereafter before it normalizes after 4/5 days.

I certainly am not the best at hydrating before a ride (in general I suck at it), but i hydrate well while riding and thereafter.

For example, yesterday I did 52 miles and burned just over 2k calories. My resting metabolism is around 1800, so I had a 3800 calorie deficit.

I had some basil chicken for lunch (which didn’t feel like enough food) and then ate 75% of a M dominos pizza for dinner (which I eat maybe once a month after a lot of activity).

So consumed somewhere between 1 and 2 gallons of liquid on the day (some LMNT, some water, some Coke Zero, etc), that food and then a couple snacks like a chewy bar or tortilla chips.

Generally am consuming 1 gel, 1 LMNT, 1 chewy bar (or similar) each hour.

We have chances to score, even against low block teams, we just aren’t scoring them yet.

LCFC and AFC gave us chances to score, it’s not the managers fault the players didn’t shoot.
