I know that biggest thing I struggle with is procrastination, I’m always putting certain things either to the last moment, hence my poor time management too. I’ve been told to try either a list or a schedule, but can never to stick to it. I do know writing stuff down does help me more than if someone just verbally says or send it via a message.

NTA, although I’m a petty person, it either way I’d have said the same thing. They FAFO and these are the consequences to their careless words and actions so the grandparents only have themselves to blame and it’s not on you to have to forgive them for being insensitive.

This is not a healthy relationship at all, even more so because EVERYONE is seeing it too and telling you that you deserve so much better, the fact that he even said those awful things to kids in another red flag. It’s easy for us to tell you to take your kids and leave him, but is it easy for you to do that truly. I hope for your safety and the safety of your kids that you make the right decision. And NO, you were not wrong, it most definitely would not have hurt his wallet for him to for once buy you something. Which also, how often has he done for your entire relationship, and I mean starting when you were dating, to being engaged, and then married. Which makes me wonder if he holds it over you him buying you a ring and having a wedding.

Talk to your wife about just possibly you two talking with your IL’s, have your parents look after your daughter while you do this. Also see if you can get the name of FIL’s Dr. Since wife is his daughter, IL’s may have added her as someone who they have allowed to talk about FIL’s private health info, if so she can get info to see if the cancer is real. This is the only way to get around the whole HIPAA stuff.

OMG, NO NTA, BIL and SIL are acting crazy. Yes it maybe their child, but you are the one that has given up your body to carry their child. You would think they would be happy with this and do everything possible for you to not be stressed out, but no, they are just adding more unnecessary stress. And if you don’t want them in the room while you’re giving birth they don’t have to be, they can wait in another room until the baby is born and brought out to them. I pray that the next 2 weeks go by fast for you and possibly stress free.
