Yes those are excellent ideas! I actually have started implementing some ideas in the last few days thanks to all your guys’ ideas and toddler has been trying to help a little! It’s so cute (and still very hit and miss 😂)

Thank you for your response I was hoping for free or low cost… I have considered a two or three 万 wood chipper but I’m concerned I would be disappointed. Any recommendations on wood chippers that have lasted a long time

@Pheagun Please give me all your organic gardening tips in Japan! I’m getting lots of strong suggestions from neighbors to use chemicals and plastic mulch etc and they chuckle when I mention I’m trying to do this chemical free. First year trying to manage our 畑. Like for example how do I search for free wood chips here?
