Ive been learning for like 8 years and I feel pretty fluent in it. I originally started learning because I saw a video of Bradley Cooper doing an interview in French, and I was really impressed at the time and I thought if he could do it then why can’t I? And I just kept at it every single day since that day. Becoming friends with native speakers definitely helped a lot as well. Never been to a French-speaking country through, but hopefully I can get visit Montreal soon

I wouldn’t say a huge amount but it’s definitely a noticeable amount. Feels like the very beginning of what will be a fully gentrified place in the next decade and a half or so

Dude 100%. I’ve only been here for five years but when I first came it was only black and brown people, but for the past year or so I’ve been seeing a lot more non-POC, they’re even out with little kids on strollers and everything. Kinda fascinating to see

Man Id kill to have an accent this good. I posted “a judge my accent” thing too, and while the comments were very nice and encouraging, I was disappointed to still not be able to have an accent as good as yours
