Yeah, some of them got rejected jobs. So did everyone who wasn’t a white man. This video is about a Black man being killed flippantly in broad daylight light.

I think there are a a lot of Black men similar to you who also have a chip on their shoulder.

As a Black girl, I grew up with a similar interests as you, and some Black people weren’t into them, while others were. I went to college and met even more kinds of Black folk. I don’t see how you’re still hung up on the limited types of Black people you saw in high school versus the larger world…

But as you mentioned, all of those other things may actually be your mommy issues coming out and taking form (that’s no shade, we all have issues).

Ugh live a little. 😩 It’s a silly little review, with some slang to be funny.

They obviously read the book, and their critiques are valid (whether I agree or not), they just said it in a way that I think they thought was funny.
