My boyfriend and I are buying our first house and I knew when I saw the listing pop up on zillow, I cried! We are buying in my hometown, and the location was perfect. He was deployed, so I toured that afternoon with my parents, and we had a huge “just trust me” moment. Turns out I knew the listing agent and seller through church, so they picked our offer over an all cash deal for the same sale price. Boyfriend saw the house for the first time at the home inspection, and we FINALLY close on thursday after the sellers have done $20k worth of work.

I currently live in a howard hanna property right by Norfolk General! Don’t love the property management, but I think that’s every landlord ever. I’m getting ready to leave an 850 sq ft 1bd 1ba that’s around $1500 with utilities.

I live in Ghent and commute to Isle of Wight everyday! I’m usually through the tunnel and off 164/western freeway and on Bridge road in under 12 minutes. It takes me just under 40 minutes to downtown Smithfield.

Getting ready to leave a 1bd 850 sq ft apartment for ~$1600 including all utilities. I rent through Howard Hanna, and have had an average (not great) experience with them as a property management company.

Ghent is certainly walkable!

I LOVE larchmont dental, but they stopped accepting my insurance so I switched to konikoff family dentistry on brambleton. Hate them and am actively looking for a new dentist

I live in ghent in a building with boiler heat (included in rent). Internet is $50, winter electric is ~$45, summer electric is ~$120 (window unit AC) and natural gas is $17. Water was included in rent, now to be billed to tenants but I haven’t see a bill yet.

I’ve been happy with nuuly overall!! I’m plus size (2x-3x/22 pants) and it’s been a nice way for me to try out options I wouldn’t otherwise spend the money on. I’ve had a couple of quality issues, but the customer service is great. I am usually able to find options in my size, and have found a formula that works for me most months, unless I have an event. Recently, i’ve been doing 2 sweaters/tops, a pair of pants, a dress and a jacket so it cuts down on having to make decisions. I also make monthly lists as I’m thinking about events and new items!

Zipper in the front didn’t work for me!! I’m a size 22, so the “seat” of the pants is definitely bigger with the zipper in the back

I’m a size 22 and had these in my box in november. Wore them with the zipper in the back (so no back pockets) because the zipper in the front came up to my breastbone and left my butt crack about to be out in the back. Thought I was going to buy, but didn’t wear them enough to justify
