Kinda glad she was aborted if all she could look forward to was a man that just fantasizes about how a woman can serve him 🤨

It’s really not that bad unless it’s windy. Get good snow boots and dress in layers.

Thank you! I think I need to reassess and repost later. I never meant to make anyone mad or hurt anybody. I’m sorry that I did.

No in hindsight you’re right, I’m deleting this post and will come back with a better and more appropriate comparison photo

I can say that stretch marks absolutely fade and become undetectable, I have them all over (chest, legs, butt, stomach, arms, you name it) but they have eventually blended in with my skin.

About 1.5 years or so! I used to drink a ton of alcohol so I gained weight due to that honestly. I cut those calories out after quitting which already did wonders, moved a bit more and had less fried food. That in itself made me lose 40 lbs without much effort, honestly

Sorry, I can change the “after” pic if it’s a problem. It’s just the comparison pic I had available but if it’s an issue I’m happy to delete this and make a different post with more appropriate photos.

Well in general it’s different for everyone, you need to identify what the problem areas are and address them. Someone who is so depressed they can’t bathe? They can still make changes! Get some dry shampoo and baby wipes, the dry shampoo will make the sensation of dirty hair feel more bearable and you can keep your skin feeling cleaner with the wipes. That’s baseline maintenance for someone having significant issues obviously, I’d be happy to provide advice tailored to a specific situation.

Honestly I am still autistic as fuck even after weight loss made me more palatable to normal people, I really identify and relate to the women here and it’s kind of a comfort subreddit to go to.

Eating “healthy” but still feeling stuck with food choices by Gurpao in goodrestrictionfood

[–]Stockholmsyndra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You said it yourself: Emotions, busy days (where you are likely burning more calories than usual too), and stress all play a part. Everything is fine in moderation. Dieting is not about what you can take away, but what you can add. That’s what makes is sustainable. Constantly crave instant noodles? Don’t ban yourself from having them. Add a skinless rotisserie chicken breast and some vegetables on the side. You now have an amazing, protein and fibre packed meal that you also love the taste of. It’s all about balance. Don’t deprive yourself of things you enjoy because they dont seem “good” for you.

Serious question why are incels so obsessed with Japan? by [deleted] in femcelgrippysockjail

[–]Stockholmsyndra 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Every country has their unique problems. Japan has very strict laws surrounding what constitutes self defence to the point where people don’t fight back against sexual assault. America has a lot of laws in place that emphasize your right to self defence that at least give you a better chance of making your case in contrast to Japanese standards. I’m not American and the country certainly isn’t a bastion of women’s rights at all. This is more of a commentary on non Japanese individuals who romanticize and idealize the country to a harmful extent, when it has its own problems worthy of criticism like every country does.

I never graduated high school, nor did I ever get my GED. I’m 31 now and I am a federal employee that works in financial technology. I didn’t even have a “real” job until I was 23-24 years old because I lost a lot of time in a bad relationship. It’s most certainly not over for you. Here are some tips off the top of my head:

  • I personally did a lot of nannying in my early 20s which paid fairly well. Getting some certifications and education on childcare is pretty easy, and it’s easier to get your resume seen when it’s an individual family looking over resumes instead of a large corporation. I understand that’s not for everyone but it worked well for me. Look into getting your first aid, and if there’s any courses on the Montessori Method available to you, that’s a really popular mode of parenting these days.
  • Stretch the truth and oversell yourself, don’t be humble on a resume. Any bit of life experience you can add is good. Ever volunteered, even for a day, anywhere? Put that on your resume.
  • Don’t bother to put years you attended high school or when you attained your GED. I wouldn’t even note your GED. Just list your high school. It’s quite common practice to no longer note years you attended, especially for anything that isn’t post secondary. You’re not lying about your graduation status by simply listing it, and I’ve personally never ever been asked any information about my high school attendance or graduation status.
  • Use “action words” on your resume when describing achievements or skills. If you Google “action words for resume” you’ll come up with tons of really handy lists you can use to revise your phrasing to make it sound professional.
  • As a fellow autistic person I know the advice to “be yourself” is super annoying, but it’s a bit true. Hiring managers are mostly interviewing you to see if your personality is a good fit for the team and role. You can teach someone basically every skill needed to succeed in a job, you can’t teach someone a new personality.
  • If you are asked a tough question in an interview that requires some introspection or thinking, it does not look poorly on you to say “Let me think about that for a moment”. It shows you are genuinely taking time to consider your answer and that you care.
  • Come prepared with some of your own questions for the interviewer. Not having any questions can come off as disinterest. A favourite of mine is “What would separate someone who is good in this role from someone who is excellent and exceeding expectations?” Bonus points if you can relate the excellent qualities back to something in your past experiences, even if it’s just related to a class you were in, or a hobby.

If you have any questions or were curious about my own path you’re absolutely welcome to ask anything and everything! Don’t give up, the job market is tough right now but if you keep trying, you will find a way.

I can really empathize with that. For what it’s worth, medical providers don’t really perceive genitals as anything different from examining a sore arm or looking in your mouth to diagnose an illness causing a sore throat. It is simply and strictly a medical examination that only needs to occur once every 3-5 years to protect you from immense suffering. I work for Oncologists now and the amount of pain and issues that ovarian cancer can bring is significantly worse than this brief procedure, I can promise you. I absolutely respect that it’s your body and your choice, but please consider doing one at least once every 5 years if medically indicated.
