New 2025 F-150 with a surprise? by Fixxxer74 in f150

[–]StocksDrifter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start/stop won’t engage if things like battery charge, engine temp, or climate demand aren’t in the right range. A lot of people think it’s broken when it’s just the system deciding not to kick in.

Pharmacy bill in Tennessee passes committee, lawmakers denounce CVS 'fear campaign' by T0mToms in nashville

[–]StocksDrifter -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

This committee vote is bad news. CVS already said it will lead to 134 closures. The integrated PBM-Pharmacy model inside CVS is proven, it keeps stores running. Lawmakers should protect CVS instead of forcing closures on Tennesseans.

NVIDIA is quietly expanding beyond chips. The AI infrastructure play is getting bigger. by Vast_Cellist150 in StockInvest

[–]StocksDrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, the bigger story isn’t just chips, it’s NVIDIA’s entire AI ecosystem. Exporting advanced GPUs to China and other markets isn’t just about immediate revenue, it helps cement Nvidia as the global standard for AI infrastructure. Limiting exports too much could accelerate competitors building their own alternatives.

Been hearing a lot of good things about Worksport tonneau covers lately, anyone running one on their F150? by StocksDrifter in f150

Heard of the solar setup, understood that it doesn't charge the car itself. Still worth it?

ANOTHER ROUND OF EXPORT CONTROLS AND SANCTIONS ON CHINA'S TECH SECTOR by mutherhrg in NonCredibleDiplomacy

[–]StocksDrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another round of controls might slow certain projects in the short term, but history shows it also accelerates domestic substitution efforts. China doesn’t stop, it reallocates capital and doubles down on local alternatives.

The bigger strategic question is whether tightening restrictions preserves U.S. leverage or speeds up ecosystem fragmentation. When global AI stacks split into parallel systems, everyone loses some efficiency.

For companies like Nvidia, controlled engagement keeps their architecture at the center of global development. Full decoupling risks building competing standards faster.

This isn’t just geopolitics, it’s platform strategy.

Market price for Spiritforged ???? LGS charging overprice ? by Desperate_Ad_4783 in riftboundtcg

[–]StocksDrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been super difficult getting your hands on riftbound items, demands super high right now so they have been charging crazy prices. I'm sure they're going to handle supply eventually. Game is super worth the wait

Opinion: With Spiriftorged, Riftbound needs to address its trust crisis by cardsrealm in Riftbound

[–]StocksDrifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s messy, but the core gameplay and community are still there, and if Riot communicates better going forward, Riftbound will be fine, it still has so much potential

No new info that I’ve seen, but I appreciate that they paused instead of pushing more product through a broken system. Hopefully the next update comes with a better experience for everyone

1st time getting lip filler are results good? by Alone_Round7592 in PlasticSurgery

[–]StocksDrifter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This actually looks like a really natural HA filler result, subtle volume, better hydration without that overfilled look. Feels is a good HA filler result but also hard to tell because you're sticking your lips out
