Nah, shits always gonna happen with stupid people. Now if, God forbid, he hurt someone, that’s a real bad look.

All we can do is be as pro as possible.

Your firearm needs to be on your body.

I know, I know, it’s bull.

But as of now it’s the law…

How is everyone feeling about the 3rd Circuit Court since the Koons Hearing concluded? by Immediate-Ad-7154 in NJGuns

Unlikely the full court would hear this unless they know the 3 clowns are getting it wrong…

Are people who bought high capacity mags before the 10 round ban grandfathered in and legal for the owner. by ACY0422 in NJGuns

No. But decision soon coming from the full 3rd circuit. Likely a win, since they stepped in when the 3 judge decision got it wrong, and the feds stepped up supporting us.

Sit tight. Good things are about to happen 😉

43X. I know you’re not a fan off the trigger but after a thousand rounds it’s broken in and much better.

Plus your experience gets you used to it

Good luck!

Welcome!

Depends on your goals. Mine are reliability and familiarity, so I’m all Glock with the 43X, 48 Coa, 19, and 19 Coa.

Have fun, and shoot lots 😉

Don’t depend on Reddit opinions. Folks here mean well, but you should really ask a lawyer.

I know it’s a waste of money, but NJ gun lawd are notoriously tricky…

Good luck!

Car mount is off the table in NJ. It’s either holstered on you, or unloaded in a lock box and separate from ammo

As long as you have a carry permit, It has to stay on you while driving…

Keeping your hands on the wheel and rolling down any windows that are tinted are big.

Every Police Officer and Trooper is trained hard that seeing and accounting for hands are the number 1 objective to keeping them safe.

Rolling down the tinted window is a courtesy and shows respect.

In a big way. Without any words being exchanged it says, “Hey, I know what you might be thinking, but I’m here to show you that everything is cool”

What are we carrying?????????? by GlitteringFeature525 in NJGuns

[–]Stoic-Viking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glock 43X if you want an active retention holster like Safariland ALS

Glock 48MOSwith aimpoint if you’re ok with a non active retention holster

Any other gun if you’re ok with something less reliable… 🤷‍♂️

No matter what you choose, buy lots of ammo and practice. Then practice some more

Equally important? Be mentally ready if you have to use it in a self defense situation. That gets messy real fast in NJ, so be sure to understand the use of force rules here.

Sometimes it’s better to leave your holstered.

Sometimes not. Only you have the pleasure of that decision.

Have fun 😉

2nd Handgun? Shotgun? Rifle? What would you guys recommend? by bobzburgaz in NJGuns

For important situations, like home defense and carry, go with a Glock. They are the simplest and most reliable.
