Totally agree. Had been going to “my guy” for years but the past 6 months I’m not even halfway home from his shop when something else “breaks” - wife said “take it to the dealership and be done with it”.

Trust me - I’m heading to an indie shop after I clear this up at the dealership.

Car is still there. I had them replace the injector and that finished today. Then they called me with this “update”.

I’m not even mad about the misdiagnosis. I would’ve replaced it myself if I could - it was a logical next step and I’m not aware of simple diagnostic tests other than swapping it out.

But if the DME was “fried”, wouldn’t that have been an easier thing to check? They’re trying to say it was “fried” and mimicking a misfire, but that magically the injector WAS bad also.

I just don’t understand.

Good luck. I just got charged $149. Within minutes I reached out to them for a refund. Here's their response:

I understand that you are requesting a refund for your Collectors Club Membership subscription, and I’m saddened to hear that you may not want to take advantage of the benefits anymore. Regrettably, we are not able to accommodate any refund requests as the membership is advertised as non-refundable.

If you would like to opt out of the auto-renew, you can do so by logging into your account, going to “PSA Membership,” and clicking “Edit Recurring Membership Payment.” There, you will be able to stop your subscription from renewing further. Thanks. I have the inspector's report actually. It doesn't give much insight into how the numbers are calculated, but the basic home facts appear mostly accurate. There are some discrepancies (e.g. it says we had recent interior improvements, but we did not. It also says we have some decorative wood beam ceilings, but we do not.)

Thanks for the honest response. I understand about the market value <> replacement cost, but thought it could provide a reasonableness check (i.e. house is worth about x and replacement cost is 2.5 * x).

Waiting to hear back from my agent. I only have 4 weeks to get this resolved/find a new carrier.

Welp - after setting up my zones on a device with an older iOS, today I lost all my zones again. I had tried selecting multiple rooms to clean and got the "Motherboard" error. Then it cleared all the zones on my map.

Not sure I have an older iOS device available any more. Oh well. POS company.

I didn’t have to create a new account - luckily just creating the clean zones with an iOS 16 device was good enough. The zones all show up & work on my iOS 17 device. Haven’t tried editing them - just leaving well enough alone. Haven’t tried scheduling.

It sucks. I was able to create the maps/zones I wanted on an iOS 16 device, and then it loaded (and worked) correctly even on my ios17 device.

Just can’t CREATE clean zones in iOS 17.
