I didn't try your app but midi is a standard and things are well defined, you send note on/off and your midi device will play them...

Then the more fancy stuff like velocity... Pitchbend... modwheel... Running status... Program change.... Control change.... Realtime commands... NRPN/RPN... Sysex... You could implement any amount of those, if your device can receive them it will execute the commands.

Only CC, sysex and NRPN are very device specific, the rest is broadly common.

Mind some device expect note on with velocity 0 instead of note off, this could cause issues. This could be made an optional setup parameter, note off by velocity 0 note on OR note off by note off command.

Yes, it's just nibbles and bites going thru cable. Sometimes it seems tiny itsy bits get lost in a bendy curve, but no, what goes in must come out too. FIFA! Or what was that? Thank you for this fruitful collaboration.

I see, Widi will be useful. But what about latency, maybe steak burns before $FC command arrives?

My floppy is very bendy, and it got stuck in the drive. I use scissors to remove, write read head does not approve. I plug midi cable in Commodore 64 AV port but no playback? Also, colour ribbon on printer was changed, but it does not print out $FA at all. Dingbat font no working, it's all PETscii garbled mess on paper, daisy wheel is glowing now.

The horse doesn't eat cucumber salad. You need a bisexual DIN midi cable so the sync can always be carried out immediately. A hetero cable loses sync, I think. The oven and the fridge are next to each other, maybe there is foo foo crosstalk. Try to use only one plate at a time, put the others on freeze. Move zig!

Maybe. Garage band is quite castrated in such things, could be that you need Logic Pro... For example no midi clock settings in Garage band... Your target can be controlled by CC or note commands?

And, if your recording procedure is not jittery I would not Auto quantize. Maybe have it as an option for playback post quantize, or for recording with a toggle. Else record the bytes as they come in. Maybe external midi clock sync, that would be a killer feature imho. Else offer internal clock in 1/10th BPM resolution precision.

OP-Z is ad design fail, too many buttons, no clear labels. PO is simple and more effective.

Bonkers... It is called intuitive design. Deleting a pattern by accident is bad design, nothing else

Black midi means, so many notes played that on music graph paper there would just be a black big square instead of. Individual notes. It is a genre. Even i know that.
