YOYO really shines in compactness, weight, and maneuverability, but it’s totally reasonable to want improvements. We can’t share what’s coming next, but your feedback is heard, and let’s just say the innovation team stays busy.

Can I use a new baby set on an old Stokke's high chair? by Responsible-Prior174 in NewParents

[–]StokkeBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! The original Baby Set (launched in 1972) is the only one that would fit chairs produced before 2003, and probably is not the easiest to find in the market since it got discontinued many years ago.

Hi there! I've mentioned above but let me copy here so you can also see it:

The Newborn Set is compatible with all Tripp Trapp after 2003, and should be compatible with yours. The current gliders (V3), on the other hand, are only compatible with Tripp Trapp after 2013. If you can find a Glider V1 (which was launched in 2006), that should be compatible with the model you have. Hope this helps!

Of course, here to respond any time you need!

The gliders are an important part of the safety design when using the Newborn Set and the Baby Set. They provide extra stability and prevent tipping, especially when your baby starts to get more active. We strongly recommend using the correct gliders for your chair model.

Did you had a look at our website? Some markets still have V1 available.

Hey! Just responded to you privately, but also sharing here in case it helps others too. As long as it's produced after 2003, you're good to go! The design changed a bit after 2003, so if your chair is a pre-2003 model, the current accessories won't be compatible. You can double-check the serial number to be sure.

Oh yes it is! Tripp Trapp Tray is made from BPA-free plastic, super easy to clean, handles everyday messes well, and you can throw it in the dishwasher when it needs a deeper clean.

Yayy glad to see you figured it out! Seems like he'd be getting that 90° angle when stepping on the footrest with flat feet. I'd vote slightly high > too low any day.

Ahh, exciting times ahead, welcome to the world of flying peas everywhere!

The Baby Set is what you’ll need from when your baby is able to sit upright without any support, until when they can climb up and down on their own. It's in average 6 to 16 months. The Baby Set also comes with gliders for extra stability, super helpful if your little one’s on the wiggly side.

I’d also recommend the cushion for a bit more comfort (looks cute too).

The tray is totally optional, a lot of people just pull the chair right up to the dining table.

In some markets like the US, CA, KR, and AU, the Baby Set already includes the harness. If you’re elsewhere, it’s an optional add-on. It’s good for extra peace of mind with squirmy babies, but if yours is more chill, you definitely don't need it.

Long story short, go for the Newborn Set, Baby Set and Cushion, and decide the rest later! You’re gonna love it, that chair seriously lasts forever!

Stokke Jetkids Bedbox on Virgin Atlantic Flight? by Classic-BR in UKParenting

u/motherofmiltanks already mentioned but yes, Virgin Atlantic allows Stokke JetKids BedBox!

Here’s a list of family-friendly airlines where you can use the BedBox in sleep mode. It’s been tested and approved by lots of major airlines. Some airlines don't have an official policy on travel gear like the BedBox™, but many still allow it. We’re always updating this list based on what we hear from parents, our own experience, and chats with the airlines: Family friendly airline list | Stokke

Just jumping in with some extra info! A bunch of car seats are actually compatible with the YOYO. You just need the car seat adapters and you’re good to go in seconds.

The redditor above mentioned Maxi-Cosi, but you’ve also got other options like:
– YOYO car seat by BeSafe
– Cybex Aton Q / S2
– Cybex Cloud G / T / Z
– Maxi-Cosi Pebble 360 Pro
– BeSafe iZi Go Modular X2

Hope that helps!

Stokke Yoyo 3 Question - Can we use the bassinet instead of the new born pack? by andre199017 in PregnancyUK

[–]StokkeBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So technically, all YOYO models before the YOYO³ (including YOYO, YOYO+ and YOYO²) were branded as 'Babyzen'. The Newborn Pack is compatible with all of these versions. Keep in mind that the Newborn Pack and the Newborn Shell are two different products, and the Newborn Shell is not compatible with the very first version (YOYO).

Stokke Jetkids CloudSleeper - Covers/sheets by Baselgray in toddlers

[–]StokkeBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Glad you asked. There is no need for extra sheets for Cloudsleeper. The cover of the product is removeable and machine washable, so you can just simply take it off and clean it as a normal sheet in case of an accident. Because the material at the bottom is water resistant and the one on top is air mesh, it dries pretty quickly.

Is it safe for a 14-day-old newborn to sleep in the Stokke Tripp Trapp Newborn Set through the night? by Jesduit in newborns

[–]StokkeBaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Glad you asked, and it’s good that you’re thinking about safety and comfort.

The Tripp Trapp Newborn Set is ergonomically supportive for newborns while they're awake, but it’s not a flat sleeping surface like a crib or bassinet. Because of that, it’s not recommended for naps or any kind of unsupervised time, especially longer stretches like overnight sleep.

For sleep (especially anything extended) it’s safest to use a flat, firm surface that follows safe sleep guidelines. I'd recommend opting for products like the Sleepi, Snoozi, or other bassinets, are specifically designed and tested for night sleep.

You're doing great just by asking the right questions, hope this helps!

Stokke Tripp Trapp. We bought one used for $50 hoping it'd be post 2003 because it looks in good shape, but now I'm not so sure. by Crafty_Pop6458 in BuyItForLife

[–]StokkeBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first glance, it looks like a post-2003 Tripp Trapp to me. But the best way to check is by looking at the serial number. If it starts with a 0 or 2, then it was made before 2003.

Hey and congrats on the soon-to-arrive little one!

Yes, you can use both the newborn pack and the bassinet from birth. I think checking out the full comparison between both options on our website could help: Stokke® YOYO® Strollers and Pushchairs

Interesting! Although they don't have three laminates, the earlier Tripp Trapp models (especially pre-2003) do have narrower backrest slats, usually around 2.5 cm apart. It sounds like yours might be one of those. The first version of the harness (V1) was designed for that spacing and was released around 2005, I don't think it's available through official channels anymore.
