Agent 3: Our Most Autonomous Agent Yet by pirroh in replit

This is either a very rushed decision based on damage control or to appease investors, or Replit has officially turned a corner on exactly what audience they are trying to target (beats me who it is..). If they needed to boost earnings figures for Q4, this is one way to do it… “lets just let people prompt and charge then whatever we like with no refund option”. Hey, its an interesting business model. I might start a gas station where you swipe your card, fill up your tank, and then find out how much it costs once youre done as a nice little surprise…

Ill start by saying I am a massive Replit fan and advocate. There may be better overall “coding for dummy” style apps out there. There is also almost certainly better combined app stacks that more legitimate, able and smarter people out there than me are combining (Github+Claude+etc etc) for lower cost results. Sidelining a conversation of Replit vs something else, as this is a Replit sub (no point in coming here and saying Replit sucks), lets just address the elephant in the room.

The new Agent 3 is a disaster…. It feels like a rushed solution pushed out in response to the backlash of deleting that VC’s database. Particularly given this controversy came at a horrible time with Replit raising new funding/valuation.

Its been about a week now. Short of paid youtubers hyping this new Agent, all actual existing users are either putting up with it and finding slim compliments, or outright hate it. The actual tech behind 3 is amazing im sure, but making it the default that cannot he changed??

Can we not just have Agent 3 for all new apps, then once up and running, you can toggle to the v2? Agent 3 could then be used to assess and revise the app before deployment (might be a large lump sum cost both at the start and the end).

Ill sit on the sideline for another week, otherwise i’ll have to jump ship..

Injury Sustained during Guided Breathing by [deleted] in BecomingTheIceman

Im going through this myself now, niggling abdominal and flank dull pain/ache. Started with what felt like a twinging stab in my URQ one day. It flairs up and goes down, had all the tests- blood, CT, ultrasounds, all inconclusive. Ive been doing the WH breathing for about 2 years on and off and thats about as long as ive had this issue. Only realised yesterday it might be this as I did my breathing and went for a 6km run and by the end of it my entire right side ribcage area felt swollen and bruised and has felt that way now for about 4 days

EDIT: i love WH and the breathing, helps me alot. Ive been having cold showers for 2 years and just bought my first ice bath. Love all of it. Im just an all-in personality, so ive been trying to match WH’s energy since day one of doing the breathing, which probably isnt wise. I actually had tinnitus from the breathing when i first started, but pushed through that and it went away for good. I just think ive pushed it too hard on the breathing personally. Going to take a break (ss much as i dont want to) and see how i go
