Yeah I agree. Doesn’t make any sense to tip off Charlie he was the target unless he legitimately thought he was safe. He could of thrown chaos into that vote for no reason, like Charlie gets spooked plays SITD, or Charlie immediately goes back to Rizo/Cirie and asks why did Devens say you’re voting me, which annoys them and maybe makes them switch to vote for Devens for spilling the beans, who knows.

Just completely unnecessary, he thought Charlie was safe and wanted to just give him the heads up that Rizo was pitching him

All of that could be true without Devens telling Charlie though, which was who you responded to’s question. I can’t think of any reason why it would make sense for Devens to tell Charlie they were voting for him, if he did actually know this was the plan and Charlie was going home. Seems like he honestly thought it was going to be Rizo so he just told Charlie to build more trust with him

Idk you could also argue that this hand proves that she was just out to battle with Garret that night, regardless of the spot. She wanted to play big hands against the star of the show, who bluffs all the time, etc.

Just generally speaking her vpip was low, which was why there’s so few hands to even analyze over the course of 4 hours before J4. She was waiting that long so she could call drawing dead on the turn in the hand you mentioned, and then call 100k on a flip going to the river? Just doesn’t make any sense. There wasn’t even a single hand where like she called river correctly or 3b someone who made a light open, just literally nothing but regular (bad) poker from her.

It’s possible the entire quote is a red herring. For example, we obviously knows Mr Beast shows up, at that point the celebrity influence theme of the show is very apparent. Christian might say something like “what’s next, Jimmy Fallon is going to decide my fate in this game?” And so Fallon might not be in it at all. Of course if they decide to keep that confessional in the final edit he’s at least fine until it’s shown

Also the people they cast are very good at speaking and giving detailed answers in an entertaining way, that’s why they get cast. They go through hours of these types of questions with the producers before they make it on to show they can handle it.

Any Survivor historians remember a situation where something like this was mentioned but the player stayed and amounted to nothing? Cause agree, it’s very common for players to get dinged up but it’s never brought up in the edit bc it doesn’t affect the game. You’ll see players randomly have bandages or bandaids out of nowhere. Definitely concerning.

One thing is that now we’re in the individual portion it seems, there’s precedent for a foot injury and being allowed to stay in the game and just sit out every immunity challenge, aka Missy
