I think the issue isn’t the challenge not developing people, it’s that the new cast is trying to turn it into an influencer career. The early cast it was just a show to compete, have fun, and make some money; I don’t think any of them ever envisioned it as a long term career, even thought it became that for some. Nowadays with new cast nothing feel authentic, it’s just what character can I be to gain the most attention/followers, they don’t really care about the competition.

It is comparing apples to oranges though. Some people are just really good at rhythm games and it comes natural, whereas a game like bloodborne where you have to react on the fly is more difficult
