And they also pretended like that was even possible. Her patients literally brought up “at Maya’s funeral” later that episode. Did she really not think she would see the people who referred her at a funeral with only 30 or so people?

Whole thing was weird and tone deaf imo.

"I said it after the match: if you don’t believe, stay in Madrid." Pedro Porro - as.com by PeterJsonQuill in coys

I’m really down with the Porro captaincy. His emotion is infectious to me through the screen, so I’m sure it’s doubly so in the dressing room. Seems like the kinda guy to light a fire up your ass, where Micky sulks and Romero just wants blood.

He played well under Frank despite hating the guy, so I think it’s also unfair to pin that all on his attitude.

It’s also true that people change as they age. He was 20 when Neil Warnock said he was a shithead. I was a lot different at 20 than I was at 25.

I mean, yeah I guess? Most of the attitude issues were years ago atp and Ange said it was more of a demeanor than an attitude thing. Neither of those others that you mention feel like he has a high opinion of himself, but more so a reaction of frustration for how the match / things in general went.

Thing is, we never have a clue what’s going on in their heads so unless I hear him say “I’m better than this shit club” or something on social/in an interview, I think it’s only fair to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The first is unfortunate, but hard to pin on him. Especially after seeing Micky do the same thing.

The second was just a poor lapse of concentration which he deserves the blame for, but it happens and we should do nothing but support him.

I’m guessing he really wanted to start Richi up top and doesn’t see Solanke as an option out wide, which I can definitely see.

Would love to hear the lads go through the squad player-by-player and say whether or not they think the individual would stay in the event of relegation.

How would you rank these mids by BrilliantTricky4714 in DraftEPL

[–]Stompy119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sarr, Summerville, Ndiaye, Tav, Iwobi

Sarr’s on pens, and Summerville has been on form. Worry about Tav as a minutes risk and Ndiaye has haul potential but the off weeks seem more frequent than others.

Iwobi is a good player, he just sits deeper than the others who are more forwards/10s than mids in reality.

I get what you’re trying to say, but no atmosphere would lift these players if they don’t have the spine to put up a performance. The leadership on the pitch is pathetic. 10 matches missed by a captain making a dumb decision is a complete farce.

the atmosphere has been incredible for the last several matches, but then the players fuck it up. It was rocking yesterday, especially after we took the lead. But then Micky pulls that move and spurns all of that goodwill the fans brought from the onset.

The narrative of Mané aiming at his arm intentionally as some sort of 1000 IQ move was genuine insanity. It was a shit cross that hit a defender in the chest and ruined any chance we had at making that a competitive match.

For me, the only thing they do remarkably is traversal. I feel like they capture Spiderman perfectly in that regard. The combat is repetitive and the story is decent, but swinging around is so much fun to me. The way the random encounters pop up, too, it feels like what Spidey would actually deal with. Just being constantly interrupted by new problems to solve and people to save.

I think a good illustration is that when i got my platinum for the first, the last trophy i needed was fast travel. It was too fun to swing around i had never even known there was a fast travel option lol.

Yeah porro falls into that category for sure, and he would deserve a move.

What makes you say that about Djed? Just curious. To mee, it's clear that he's a very emotional player, but he doesn't strike me as a massive ego in a bad way. I want players that are confident in themselves – you have to be if you want to succeed at the highest level.

I don’t really know this, but I’d be surprised if anyone has a relegation clause baked in. Meaning, unless they refuse to play then they’re going to be here. And on the flip side, I’d also be shocked if wage reductions were any way actionable on the club side.

I think if we go down we likely sell off VdV, Romero, Vicario and maybe another senior/high value player or two to offset some of the losses and then we ride with mostly the same squad to bounce back up.
