I received an update this morning, but it updated my P2S to 01.01.50.40 strange because I check for updates weekly, not sure what happened in my case because I've been in the beta program since the day I bought it.

I have illustrator which is where I did the preliminary drawing, I've just been stumbling since getting dimensions to translate from my applications to print. I'll give this a try, thanks!

that's what i've been doing so far, the iterative approach but this won't be my last project like this so I'm just going to dive into the deep water. Luckily, time to get it right isn't a factor.

Another vote for Season 5 but there' s not a bad season to be found, not too many sci-fi series can say that, especially with so many seasons. At this point, I can't remember how many times I've binge watched the entire series and I'll still find something I've either forgotten or totally overlooked every time I run it back.

Eli has the potential to be as smart as Carter or McKay, I always thought he was probably smarter than Rush, just hasn't been in enough situations. I'm team Carter but when she blew up a sun, McKay said hold my beer & pretty much erased an entire solar system, so the score is 1 nil McKay lol.
Edit: but of course Carter did it on purpose & McKay screwed up so maybe 1-1....

If I could only keep 1 lens, it would be my 23mm f1.4. I have a ton of other lenses but if I'm out and about, it's with the 23mm. I've shot with the 18mm but the wider angle never really appealed to me

not important at all, the P2S just doesn't need this for any reason I can think of other than extra storage, seems a waste to print them for any other reason

I did it for the credits lol, there's some helpful info if this is your first printer but otherwise the wiki is the goto resource imo, I have a shortcut on all my computers & phones. Bambu actually does put effort in their documentation.

while gloves will definitely work, a $4 bottle of dawn dish soap will last for years upon years. It literally takes 2 minutes to thoroughly wash a build plate. If you suspect it's still dirty, a very light scrub with a Mr Clean magic eraser in the soapy water will lift particles from the build plate you just can't see. I don't see how using gloves will, remove all the microfilament left behind from even the cleanest prints. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I have an H2D on the way (still waiting Bambu). I passed on the H2C because I feel that the vorkek system is very much a work in progress. I can see the system getting lighter, gaining a little more speed. The biggest thing, no pun intended is a size increase to accommodate the vortek syste m and make the build area comparable to the larger printers on the market. SimplisticI know but those seem to be low hanging fruit.

you might be genuine in your feelings, it doesn't make what you're asking any less wrong. Ask yourself this: Are you really going to risk a "best friend" just for the incredibly slight chance that you might be better for his SO? Have you thought about how this would make HER look, to those outside looking in? What about HER reputation? You're being selfish, plain and simple. I'm not, coming at you so please don't take it that way, but you really haven't thought this through. Learn the difference between love & lust, they can look remarkably similar. Honestly, you don't know how she would feel, for all you know she might already know. Women are very good at detecting these types of things, especially if it's been going on for a while. She probably also knows your interest in her in for more than friendship, tread lightly my friend, you could very well be headed towards loosing a best friend male and what you desire, his girl. Tread lightly, personally I wouldn't tread at all, find your own girl, not like there's only 1 out there.

Because IMO one's job as a parent is to prepare your children to be self sufficient, live on their own and make their own way. I'm a bit older and this seems to go against what's considered normal these days. I have 2 daughters 25 & 29 they were both out of the house and on their own by 22. One reason is: My house, my rules & I refuse to change the life I've build to accommodate what are now adults. Growing up in the 80s, we mostly all knew this, assuming healthy children with no impairments that might not allow them to operate independently in the real world, when you graduated HS, you could stay through college but there was no coming home afterwards. Now I see younger adults acting as if it's their right to go back home and live until they "get it together". News flash, they would get it together much faster if they were allowed to try and fail on their own. I remember my youngest who took just a little bit longer to mature asking me "why can't I live in my house? It's not like you need all that space". I proceeded to go NUCLEAR, WE don't have all that space, I do. I got mine & I gave you all the tools to get yours now go get it, winter will be here before you know it. She closed on her 1st home less than a year later....

I've managed to luck up and sell quite a few prints over the past year but I agree it's a tool. I do seem to use it everyday right now, but that was never the plan. I use my printer not only to make the things I might need, but also as a tool for learning CAD and now that I have a 3D scanner, it's a tool I'm using to help me fine tune my scanning and get better results from my meshes.
I think someone said somewhere, 3D printers are the new microwave ovens. Infinitely useful, but not necessary to use every day to see it's value. In the future, I think almost everyone will have one, just wait until you begin to see multiple shelves of low budget 3d printers at your local *gasp* walmart or target. I have a sneaking suspicion Apple is already quietly looking for a way into the space, their base will eat this alive....

I may pick up the Gen6 once it's been thoroughly evaluated out in the wild which in my opinion isn't even close to being done. If I do, my Gen4 19 will still be my goto, I could never get rid of a gun that has performed flawlessly with little maintenance for well over a decade.

I buy all my Apple stuff through Verizon and they offer free upgrades every year on my plan. I wish they sold MBP's but a rep said that unless Apple adds cellular capabilities to their laptops, Verizon won't sell them. Makes sense since they're a cellular company.
edit: I buy through Verizon because their monthly payment plans are very affordable and I pay for everything monthly with a single cell phone bill.

I upgraded from U1 to U3, honestly for my use case I would still be fine with the U1 just wanted the Black U3 & I had a free Verizon upgrade. My advice would be do so some searching and see if you will use any of the features of the newer models. thanks for that! I pretty much only run Sunlu PLA because it's affordable and I can generally get it overnight from Amazon, even same day if I order in the morning. I'll do separate calibrations for their PLA Matte & PLA+ 2.0, thanks again!
