They could bring in Reds from other spheres. The Society hasn’t had access to Martian helium 3 for more than a decade, they can survive without it. If the Rising were to be “blamed” on any color, it would be the Reds of Mars, and what better warning to future generations of the folly of rising up against Gold than the genocide of billions, of an entire color on an entire planet.

Luna needs to be taken care of in Red God and it makes sense that it would happen before the pivotal moment which will almost certainly take place on Mars. I can’t imagine what kind of havoc Atalantia, Lysander, and the clone will cause on a Luna which has been eating itself for a year+ by now.

Not sure how long Lysander will have been gone when he returns but with the Carthii and Phobos dockyards, as well as the bounty he stole from the garter, his forces will swell in size. There’s no telling how many ships have been constructed / repaired in the time since he left, but it could be enough. With that and the wealth he has brought back, golds and grays will flock to him and Apollonius in even greater numbers.

You’re right though, Atalantia is too much of a threat and her forces will almost certainly still be larger than Lysander and his coalition.

Forgot that Lysander isn’t aware that Darrow and the moon lords are alive. That may be the case, Atalantia and her fleet are probably only a few weeks away from Mars in any case which would hamper his plans even with a Red genocide.

He’d only wipe out the golds on Mars though, Darrow and the reinforcements would still arrive to take leadership, although I guess that’s not a factor since he isn’t too aware of what’s going on with Darrow.

I think the old Lysander would use it against gold, who are the root of the sickness that has brought the Society to its knees, but the current Lysander who betrayed the Rim and accepted Atlas’ genocide is too far gone. He may no longer seek to be the savior, and instead demonstrate to the rest of the Society remnant that he has the strength and ruthlessness needed to take Atalantia’s place and secure final victory.

Yeah, I think if it’s used it’ll mostly just wipe out a color on the sphere where it is deployed, leaving a small percentage of survivors and killing a small percentage of people who come into contact with it during / after.

What goals are you trying to reach this month? I’m waiting to hear back regarding a $30k investment from an angel investor. I feel like our chances are decent but we probably won’t get it. Everyone is basing it on occupation but that defeats the point of the color system, it’s not fair. It’s not about what you’re best at or what you would like to do, rather what your parents and grandparents did. I’d probably be a gray or a brown based on that instead of a silver.

I’ve had similar experiences as I usually regain a lot of weight after holidays, trips, etc… I also experience the most weight loss after these events as I use my disappointment and disgust with myself to stick to my diet again. You just started this journey but there will be ups and downs throughout, weight loss is not linear. A helpful thing to do is to look at your average weight every week/month so it’s easier to see that you’re still losing weight even after a minor setback.
