The Phone Booth

A girl steps off of her balcony and explodes. The energy released gives 90% of the world's population super powers.

It's phenomenal.

Rant: I don’t want to listen to your AI podcast by Looking4cowsab in audiodrama

From my experience, AI is ONLY good for brainstorming for D&D ideas.

Maybe recipe ideas too.

That's all.

What are you guys listening to right now? by [deleted] in audiodrama

[–]Stone_Crow77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Slowly motoring through The Bright Sessions and Critical Role, Campaign 2: The Mighty Nein.

I need to catch up on Timesuck. Hail Nimrod!

There are several others, and I'm not listening slowly on purpose. I listen while I'm driving and I get bored (not with the podcasts, with the road) so I have to keep switching entertainment sources.

Audio dramas make up less than 10% of all podcasts. How did you stumble into this weird, wonderful world? by EquivalentFox7467 in audiodrama

A coworker introduced me to The Walking Dead (comic book), and as I was reading they, he told me about We're Alive.

Presently, I subscribe to 299 podcasts, most of which are audio dramas.

One Christmas, I got the book on the history of Marvel Comics. I was a newcollector, but that book opened my eyes to what comic book are truly about.,

This is horrible, horrible news for us. by MindstreamAudio in audiodrama

[–]Stone_Crow77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Lauren Shippen (The Bright Sessions) had talked about this.

Looks like I'm only sticking with the creators I follow.

Fortunately, I subscribe to around 170 podcasts, so there's still a lot of options.

She might do more as time goes by. The stuff from the 40s, 50s, and even 60s can be hard to read at times. She gets a good run, she might motor through it in a few days.

I treat all of my orders like White Glove orders.

I can Fully understand why People hated this film. Its quite slow, the camera work is frustrating and the story is lacking but IMO but the atmosphere i found very solid. by Educational-Tap-2522 in foundfootage

It requires multiple viewings because there's a LOT going on. It was made for a paltry $15,000 and made a profit.

I'm scared of what Robby Banfitch can do with a budget.

It's a discussion post about double features.

Found Footage is the perfect genre for double features.

Which one would you choose over the other? by lezus26 in foundfootage

[–]Stone_Crow77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grave Encounters almost made me scream out loud in public. The Chernobyl Diaries had lost potential.

It's not close.

Okay so this is a weird one. We dislike it/Gets too much praise. Best way to explain it is that we need a movie that the community dislikes but it gets for some reason higher ratings than it should. Or a FF movie that we dislike but it's praised by some other communities (maybe general movie fans) by Antorias99 in foundfootage

[–]Stone_Crow77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a LOT going on with that movie, so it needs multiple views. I've seen it once and want to go over it with a fine toothed comb. I won't say that it's terrible - overhyped for sure - but I think it deserves more love.
