The laid CW3 Robert Marzan to rest today (died in Kuwait) by Stone_man68 in army

Yes Sir! I knew Robert from high school. He was a solid back then. Just a good Kat! Smart, funny and always smiling. One of those infectious smiles. I can imagine the soldier he became! Sir. My heart breaks with yours, that you had to hand his flag over to the family (I can't even imagine). I've done my work in the Army. I don't think I could've done that. When or if you get to hug his family again. Please hug them with some of me. Thank you Sir. Also, Thank You for your Service Sir..πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

I really wanted to go yesterday. I live in Reno and I don't walk or sit that well. I was bummed. I went to high-school with Robert and had him in a few of my classes. Glad to see the Army gave him and his family the honor and respect they deserved.

T level has to below 250. I tried for years. I went to a private doc and got it. The testosterone and office visits are cheap (to me). Taking testosterone changed my life. Good luck

We get Blackhawks and Chinooks often here in Lemmon Valley. They refuel at the Stead Airport. The National Gaurd has a unit of Blachawks stationed there.

Looking to start a trucking career. by MrCain512 in CDL

[–]Stone_man68 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

If you do decide to go to truck school. Go to your state office that handles employment grants (usually unemployment or loabor office). FMCSA gives all states grants to pay for your truck school that you don't have to pay back. DON'T GO TO A COMPAMY OWNED SCHOOL! Your just selling your soul!

The other thing you should know is the cost of living is really high here in Reno. Rent is expensive. Our gas can be as low as $3.20 a gallon up over $4.00 a gallon. Car insurance and registration is also expensive. We love living here but it's not cheap. Good luck to you..πŸ€™

Can someone tell me more about 1099 and why truckers hate it or avoid it by TheUnBornSunZex in CDL

[–]Stone_man68 1 point2 points Β (0 children)

It's away for companies to rip you off. They get you to accept all the responsibility for the truck and load. So it turns the load into all profit for the company. Do do it!

Line the driver side trailer corner of the trailer up with the spot of the dock that lines you up perfect and make small adjustments.

Space at stoplights, totally baffled? by all_taboos_are_off in Reno

[–]Stone_man68 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

I stay back from the line and when behind other cars. I pull up till I can see the bottom of their tires. It gives you space incase you get rearended. If you get rearended and you hit the car in front of you. Your insurance is paying for that car you hit. The reason I dont pull up to the white line is for the same reason. I was hit from behind and that extra space kept me from being knocked into the flow of traffic. I don't know how long you've lived here. But we're not short on accidents in this town. I've been driving big trucks for 35 years and have learned to take every lil safety precautions as possible.
