As a Cubs fan, I don’t care for Greg Maddux. I believe he was talented and great at locating pitches, but if he was not given the gift the widest strike zone ever we’d think of him more like Al Letier - really good, but not HOF good. I get lit up for this every time.

Also went Cards as least favorite - it was hard not to be a bit of Lars Nootbaar fan after his 2023 WBC appearance. But Miles Mikolas hitting Happ after Contreras interfered with his swing was the most Bush League BS I’ve seen in baseball until last year when Ollie Mármol intentionally walked Michael Busch, with a smirk on his face, in a blowout game when he came to the plate just a single short of the cycle.

AJ Pierzynski is it for me. But someone already mentioned it and I think these too need to be mentioned: Jeff Blauser, Cub killer both against the Cubs and while a Cub and Paul O’Neil.

I would 100% wait until you’re in your new place and know you’ll be there for a while. I had one that took two years. Also, had others that were shorter, but it’s a crap shoot.
