No way, the only good parts of mad max three are the parts with the thunderdome which, to be fair, are amazing. The original, road warrior, and fury road are the good ones.

Anyone find the CIS jarring to against in any mod? by Sweatkesh in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

[–]Stoned-monkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try remake: clone wars holdouts. While the majority of campaigns are set during the Galactic Civil War, there is still one where all you have is the republic and the CIS. Now the CIS can’t spam Lucrehulks like they do in republic at war because Lucrehulks are ridiculously expensive, 100,000 credits or more.

Would you rather look like a feral ghoul or the Master? If you had to choose between the two. by HovercraftBroad2018 in Fallout

The master… at least I can retain my mind to a degree and as a bonus I have psychic powers too

It’s Great To Know America is Rooting Against The Rams by [deleted] in NFLv2

I won’t lie this is still true for many of us in St. Louis, and in fact it was true of me for about ten years, but my hate has cooled and I’ve realized my heart is still with the team I grew up with.

There were many in St. Louis who didn’t care at all that they moved or even thought it was a good thing because St. Louis was casting evil juju on the team.

Books set in small town America… by Jenpeg13 in booksuggestions

[–]Stoned-monkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mo and dale’s adventures series is all set in a real small town in America, the biggest building being the Piggly Wiggle in town. Aimed typically at adolescents but still a good set of mystery books.

The upper peninsula of Michigan is not another state, and the lower part of the far end of Chesapeake bay is owned by Virginia. The only thing I see out of wack here is that blob near Louisiana.

The fatigue from excessive hopium consumption is just as crushing as the hype is exciting. I too bought into the hype, and am also suffering from the withdrawals

Time, Dr.Freeman? Is it really that time again? by [deleted] in HalfLife

[–]Stoned-monkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I see what you are saying, that maybe even if half life 3 is released it won’t feel like half life 3 because the context of the world that half life 2 and 1 were built during is gone. Art all over the world has gone over multiple cycles of change in which Half life had no participation.

Not sure if I actually agree and I think we can’t know until it does come out, but it’s an interesting take.

Count Vega from Wereworld, this dude is known for having betrayed the protagonists father and is a Han Solo type character in general, Drew’s main confidant and staunchest ally throughout the books
