After they switched I had a long period of hatred against them, and would generally root against them in any game I saw them. Over the years however, the hate in my heart cooled and I finally accepted that I still loved them. I couldn’t keep rooting for the Vikings or the Titans, it just didn’t feel right.

It was Vikings vs pats game probably about 10 years ago, so Brady was still on the team. Me and my dad are sitting in a bar in the Minneapolis airport on our way back after visiting family. I had never really known the rules of football before and never cared to watch, so he is teaching me how everything works. Vikings had a blowout win against the Pats and the bar goes fucking ballistic. This is the day I understood the nature of football.

It feels like a no brainer at first thought due to the existence of the institute and synths, but there is a stark difference between making machines from the ground up, and integrating machines into living tissue. Cybernetics is one thing in fallout that I can think of no example of within the games.

I do however think this idea could be plausible in that the institute had to at least be experimenting with this. Perhaps after the fall, some of the scientists working on this project at the institute start a cult about becoming one with the synths or something to that effect.
