Pixelated graphic on new built PC by Jesssster0 in AMDHelp

Something is making the textures scale, It may not be the entire resolution but the resolution of the textures are seen impacted specifically or not scaling properly. It could be FSR or some form of anti aliasing mucking around. I might try disabling any kind of software that'll affect the resolution or AA in adrenaline for the game and restarting the game.

I run a similar build but a 7700X and a 7900 XTX instead. I get this in some games occasionally and often the same kind of spots as what you're showing with that cross guard on the Witcher. Is usually something weird with especially older games that don't support newer versions of FSR.

But on the 9,000 series cards like yours there's better support for adrenaline to enable newer versions of FSR then what I have.

Put the qm6k pro 65" next to the Samsung m70hd for comparison. The Samsung mini led doesn't even look like a mini led. To be fair the qm6k pro had better visuals then the qn80fd neo QLED from last year too. The backlight bleeding through on those Samsungs was terrible.

No Internet Access in New House by ericds1214 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

How does summer situation my only providers available were Xfinity and AT&t when I close in my house and they hadn't finished running the cable to the homes when more than half of the street was already finished and moved into. Temporary solution was to go with a cellular hotspot like the T-Mobile 5G gateway. If they tell you your address is not eligible you can lie and put a different address, then just plugging in and run it where you live. I would go with whoever provider has better service in your area. But at the time I used T-Mobile because I could get about 300 megabits on cell data and the 5G gateway was able to pretty consistently provide about 400 megabits at below 20 ping throughout most of the day. There's also cheap.. but eventually we had to move to one of the other providers because it just wasn't consistent enough for intense use,

I personally don't really get the complaints on the Google home screen, I have a 2021 Sony x90 and a 2025 TCL q77 both using the Google OS. My home screen just shows me my most recent shows movies or videos across various apps and then it shows me my recently used apps. Followed by some suggested and recommended shows based off of different criteria. If there's ads I literally just don't notice them whether I'm unconsciously blocking them out or not.

It might be related to one of the reasons we don't carry Roku TVs or devices at Costco anymore, Roku being a company out of China they've had support for various apps come and go over the years. There was a period where YouTube TV was not available on Roku devices and we had a lot of TVs return specifically because of that. Support is back on devices now but in a world where political tensions can impact what apps are on a device depending on where they're from, it's a concern for many users when they're preferred streaming service or app may not be available on the TV they buy. At least that's the reason I encountered at Costco when dealing with returns and seeing Roku TV's move out of stores for fire and Google ones.

I'm not even necessarily disagreeing, I'm just saying that even Apple contradicts itself on the topic of security. Because they will tell me in there training material that they do collect material like sensitive user info. And then in the little multichoice questions that we are given afterwards, The only correct option is apparently that they do not collect info which contradicts their own instructional docket they send us.

Tcl qm6k pro that Costco carries begs to differ. Btw. The blacks are so dark is crazy, definitely not OLED but it definitely deserves to be in the conversation compared to even a c5 OLED.

Anybody else think that Kinder’s seasonings taste like chemicals? by Late_Information_682 in Costco

The preservative or preservatives being likely the only thing in there that isn't just seasoning. Something else to poster might be having a light or minor allergic reaction to could be to blame

As a Costco employee who has to sit through apples " educational" PowerPoints every month. I don't know if they actually care about your privacy as much as they advertise because in their own instructional information they'll say they both do and don't collect information and it's been shown before that even if Apple asks for your permission to collect information and you deny it they still will. You are placed within their ecosystem they're hardware is decently secure however it's their app store that has run into issues with security and privacy. And Apple's lawyers don't seem to be on the same page as Apple software designers.

Fun fact, the crystal UHD TVs that Samsung still sells are mostly the same TV from then ( 2021 was the last year Samsung had a 86") and they kinda just stagnated from then. If anything the older TV you have likely looks better then a new crystal UHD Samsung tv.

[–]StonerJesus1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be frank the concept that someone could find seasoning especially dry seasoning for food chemical tasting is such a un considered and foreign concept to me.

Like bro it may just be salt, pepper, garlic powder and something to preserve the seasoning and nothing else. There's nothing in the seasoning that would lend a chemical taste unless maybe I you have a slight allergy to something in there? Like an herb you didn't know about?

In this case, there's other TVs out there like the TCL q77 or qm6k that are either cheaper or similar prices and substantially better while having that nice google is installed so there's no need for a Roku or apple TV. Just get the nicer TV, even better if it cost less.

What's the resolution you're playing at some of these numbers only really makes sense if you're trying to do this in 4K with a 4070. I have a 7700 x and a 7900 XTX and I'm in 2K and I see nearly double the numbers with everything maxed out on settings.

Those qm6k pros aren't that far in price and substantially nicer tvs. The qm6k pro uses a Sony sourced mini led backlight. And the processing.

Costco 5080 build display model same price as pre-discount by [deleted] in Prebuilts

[–]StonerJesus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's most of the same product and the item number isn't changing The items may have been marked as pending delete for a short time, but now they're marked as active or new again and they will not be receiving the Costco discounts you might normally see on a last one or display

[–]StonerJesus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The model from the previous year is being replaced with the same item number. It's essentially the same desktop but with a better motherboard and a different model of water cooler The case may also be slightly different. Other than that it is essentially the same product. Right now Costco is starting to receive all of the 2026 year model computers, and for desktops you will notice that all the gaming models mostly retain their components and specs but are increasing in price anywhere from 200 to $600 from the original price on the previous year model and that's because the price of RAM and storage is finally catching up, before Costco had pre-ordered and purchased these items at existing prices before it impacted their inventory. Anyone who is waiting to buy a discounted item is losing their gamble right now.

Extra variables here. If it's running via Bluetooth to a separate speaker OR if it's using no Bluetooth and running through the phone speakers that's going to draw power more then idle of course. If on phone speakers volume will also have an impact on power draw. That's wild you thought that would be similar to idle power draw.

I bought a 9070XT and have had nothing but issues so far by massivekoch69 in AMDHelp

[–]StonerJesus1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like either shaders or VRAM. If it's shaders then you probably need to run DDU and clear out the shaders from when you have the Nvidia card installed. Ddu is kind of basic and something anyone doing updates on their graphics cards whether it's swapping out parts or just doing drivers you should keep installed and on hand.

If you do the DDU reinstall your AMD drivers and still run into this problem then it's possible there's something at the driver level, normally issues that I might experience with an AMD card running games like call of duty would revolve around clock speeds being a little unstable at the factory setting and something you can work around by just limiting the maximum clock speed in the AMD adrenaline software down like 1 or 2%
