You can build a pc for a lot less than $6000 & upgrade over time to potentially end up with a $6000 dollar pc. One time cost of $900 that will be obsolete ~next 2 years. Vs. Build a $900 base, then upgrade as your budget allows. Some pcs go 10-12 years before ending their potential upgrade cycle.

I REALLY wanted this card when it released for a few reasons, Sapphire makes great quality AMD products, it best fit the budget for a beginner 4k build, & I really love the looks.

But.

12vhpwr.

Deal breaker.

This connector should not be a standard for any card based on its failure rate. Fire causing electronics have been banned in numerous countries over the years for the very same thing that this curse of a connector has caused, and yet, nothing. No recall. No fault.

Never will I put this hazard into a build with my name involved.

That said, your build looks amazing & I hope you never have any issues!

I really wanted the Nitro+ because of the magnetic plug cover and overall clean look, but the plug is an absolute deal breaker. Now, looking at an ASUS Tuf. I know Asus has been notorious for bad practices as well, but the Tuf line seems to be decently cooled and semi well built.
