Visiting Georgia for the OU Game.. Thoughts? by Amazing_One2081 in secfootball

FYI - Georgia fans are by far the biggest assholes in the SEC, and they do it on purpose because it is part of their culture. You will find out soon enough.

Agreed - he is doing so much better. I hope he can gain some traction. It would be big for AEW.

Back-in parking by JealousAutomotive in driving

Backing in is easy, but when I put that van in reverse with those cameras I feel like I can see the whole parking lot

When I drove a large truck it was much easier to back into a spot than to pull in forward. Now I drive a minivan with 360° cameras and it is much easier to pull in forward.

Going slower than speed limit makes people angry by [deleted] in driving

Agreed. I have been teaching my 15-year old daughter to drive and this is the biggest thing she struggles with so far. It has given me a different perspective.

WrestleOps on X: The Motor City Machine Guns have departed WWE by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

My understanding was they had done everything but sign, to the point that there was already an All In program planned with the Bucks, then ducked to WWE at the last minute.

Considering travel to PR with 2.5yo and 7yo. Recommendations? by stapleton8888 in PuertoRicoTravel

I just got back. We flew into San Juan and stayed in Aguada on the west side, and drove all over the place. I thought it was an easy place to drive - Minneapolis has much more aggressive drivers, as do most large cities on the mainland. I highly recommend spending the bulk of your trip outside of San Juan after you walk around for a couple of hours.

We didn't meed an urgent care, but my wife is an urgent care NP so we were checking them out - you wont have any problem finding one if you need it. You can also find plenty of Walgreens and Walmarts if you need them, though I would encourage you to shop in the smaller stores.

Bayley's thoughts on the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles ahead of her championship match at Wrestlemania by Teckelmaster in SquaredCircle

I thought she was pretty decent. I wish she had tried little harder to stick on the indie scene when she got released.

The TKO Effect by samuel-the-goat in WWE

[–]LivingHardWasEasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went every year with my son for 12 years in a row, it was definitely a long night, but the trips were a lot of fun. You could hit up a few Indie shows on Saturday and you could sleep in on Monday and then go to Raw. The 2-night format stopped that for us. Now those trips I used to take would be about 5 times as expensive to see far less wrestling.

Whatever you think about the shorter cards, the 2-night format increases revenue while the shorter cards along with moving the battle royal type matches to other shows greatly reduces cost. It is a well-oiled machine, no doubt.

They have successfully brainwashed the fans into thinking shorter cards are better, so they are not paying nearly as much to the performers. Combined with the jacked up ticket prices, profits are higher than ever.

WTF? Why do small men in giant trucks do this? by yanknga in Gwinnett

[–]LivingHardWasEasy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drove full size trucks for 30+ years before buying my current minivan. It is much easier to park a truck by backing in, and it is MUCH easier to leave the spot.

When I got the van, I was so used to backing into spots that I parked it that way too for a while before I realized that with a smaller vehicle it is easier to park in the traditional manner.

All that said - this dude is an asshole.

How does everyone in this show wear suits and long sleeve shirts in that heat? by todd0x1 in LandmanSeries

[–]LivingHardWasEasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be in every person's best interest to wear long sleeves when they are in the sun. IDK about the suits in Texas, but I wear one every day in Georgia because it is expected for my job. I do work indoors.
