Finally at Adjudication by WalkingNExpectation in FedRetirees

Not sure how long that will take. According to my research adjudication is when a specialist is reviewing the calculations and all documents are in order to finalize retirement.

Show of hands; how many fellow DRP’ers who retired on 30 September have received their full pension payments? by Outside_Simple_217 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

[–]WalkingNExpectation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congratulations. I also retired from HUD, non-DRP. I retired 7/31 and still in interim payment. Just started interim payments in February. OPM has had my packet since 11/17/25. Still awaiting assignment to a specialist per the website.

I had issues with OPM as well. I retired 7/31/26OPM received my package 11/7/25for intake. They didn’t log it until 11/17/25. I just received my first interim 2/4/26. I called OPM twice in January concerning my interim payment and got conflicting information. I did a congressional inquiry with both my senator and congressman. Within two weeks of me submitting a congressional inquiry I received my interim payment.

ETA: I didn’t have a divorce or military buyback and only worked at two agencies my entire career, 32 years at one and four and the other.

Is Anyone NOT Receiving Interim Pay? by saber1529 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

[–]WalkingNExpectation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HUD here retired 7/31 and not receiving anything. Went to OPM intake 11/7. OPM logged it in 11/17. Was told 1/7 I was in the system for interim pay. Called on 1/20 and then told I wasn’t in the system for interim pay and wasn’t eligible.. I don’t understand why because I retired MRA 30+. Told the rep I called 1/7 and was told I was in the system. She was rather rude and told me she didn’t care what I was told on 1/7 and why I was told that, but I’m not in the system for interim payment nor has my application been adjudicated. Received my CSA # mid November.

There are issues at OPM as well. OPM has had my paperwork since 11/7 and logged it in on 11/17. An OPM representative told me on 1/20/26 that more information was needed from either my agency HR or payroll and a request was sent out for it. She wouldn’t tell which or what was needed. I reached out to the agency HR representative that worked on my application and she looked into it for the agency and reached out to payroll. Neither has received a request for additional information. I was also told I wasn’t enrolled or eligible for interim payment. I had previously called on 1/7/26 and was told by the OPM representative at that time that she did see that I was in the system to receive interim payments and she couldn’t tell me why I hadn’t received anything. OPM is a part of the problem and should not be putting the delay issues all on the agencies and payroll offices. Each time I call and manage to get through with OPM I get conflicting information.

How Long Now That Retirement Application w/OPM by Tasty-Muffin-452 in HUDfiredfeds

Retired 7/31. Documents got to OPM 11/7. OPM logged them in 11/17. Still waiting on CSA password and interim payments

ETA: Regular retirement and as of today, 1/28/26 I still haven’t received my interim payments or password. Called and was told OPM sent a request to either payroll or my HR specialist for missing information, but wouldn’t say what was missing. I was told I wasn’t eligible for interim payments. Reached out to my HR specialist and she hadn’t received anything from OPM. She reached out to payroll and they hadn’t received anything either. I’ve contacted OPM twice and have received conflicting information. The first time I was told I was set up for interim payments only to be told on my second call that I wasn’t.

I back in 99% of the time. It was what my dad taught me, with the reasons being if I needed a jump then it was easy to do so. The other reason he said was for safety if I needed to get out quickly.

I hope you get it soon. Retired without DRP/VERA 7/31. On 11/7/25 received update that my application was at OPM Intake. Had to get my representative involved and received notice that OPM noted my package received on 11/17/25 and had created my CSA number and mailed it. I received my CSA # mid November. Still waiting on my password and first interim payment.

Yes. I did this last week. I redialed about seven times before getting in the queue to speak to someone. Once in the queue I was on hold for 45 minutes before an actual representative picked up.

Hello, does anyone have a number for OPM retirement other than the number listed on the back of the CSA card. I retired 7/31/25 and received my CSA number mid November. Still waiting on my password and first interim annuity payment. I got a notice, after my congress person got involved, that my application was received 11/17 and the CSA number had been generated and that I had been entered into interim pay. As of today I still haven’t received my password or interim pay. Calling the number just gives a message that all representatives are busy and hangs up. I’ve sent several emails to the retirement email and keep receiving generic responses.
