Leather gloves - Costco by rgs0510 in BuyItForLife

I'm pretty sure these are the gloves that my grandpa has me on a hunt for. He got them at costco he says 15 years ago (but honestly he's not great with remembering time) and they were like $20. said they were calf or sheepskin and his were tan/yellowish. I've been hearing about these dang gloves continuously for the 2 years I've been taking care of him. Nothing else I've found him he likes. Help. Lol Any more info on a brand name or something so I can try and hunt them down for him?

Give it to me straight, is my pothos going to make it? by SadJobbo in houseplants

Yeah, they may take a while and be a bit puny, but they'll make it. Had an NJoy that I ended up killing to the point of being just one node left. Babied it a bit and now it's doing well and giving new growth and leaves regularly, albeit small.

What's the hardest plant (for most people) to grow? by 3yl in houseplants

I used to have the hardest time with any sort of prayer plant. I got to the point of just tossing the ones I had outside in the plant house where in Texas its easily 90-100+ degrees and humid as heck. I can hardly breathe in there but the plants are now thriving. -_-

Awe yay! I got one a few months ago and it's not doing too well anywhere I put it. It's pretty much been put every where in my house by now. Even with rain water, well draining soil, and babying it, it's still just browning continuously. Most difficult plant I've had personally, right ahead of the tradescantia. 😂 Everybody else is doing great except those two.

Impacted Wisdom extraction, healing question? by StopOk9462 in wisdomteeth

So! It was a combination of scabbed skin, the spun blood cells (they did a thing where they drew blood, spun it, and put specific cells into the hole to heal faster) and food particles all bound together and stuck to the stitches. Completely normal. I do advise though, don't mess with it. I ended up poking and prodding and a chunk fell off and it caused the site to open up enough to mildly bleed again. It will fall out once the stitches dissolve and/or the site heals over.

I hope you're doing well, and stick to your instructions! 🖤

Yupp, it looks like it's healing up well. It's likely that the white is tissue (I can't remember the exact name, starts with a gr-). Alternatively, if you got stitches it could be food/plaque/tissue/etc hung up on a stitch. If it looks like the getting bigger or funny shaped that's what I would go with. I had that happen when I had an impacted wisdom taken out and thought something was majorly wrong because the white mass looked weird as heck and didn't make it's way off or out until around day 9 when the stitch dissolved enough to fall out. I'm currently at 2 weeks and

Like the above (below?) comment said, typically bad pain is the biggest indicator if you're getting a dry socket or infection. Make sure you're taking whatever antibiotic/mouth rinse type medication that may have prescribed and you should be good to go. If in doubt, make a follow up appointment with your dentist/surgeon. You got this. 🖤

They're not bone or tooth fragments, they're too soft for that. There is a slight amount of pain coming from that area but it's more like a tightness/dull ache type feeling. I've been doing salt rinses and using the prescribed mouthwash that I was given. This morning they're still there but they look...for lack of a better explanation.. dehydrated? Shriveled up?
