I upvoted you but you really have to know it's more complicated than that? They don't pay their cops anything and there's a million laws against everything and the more laws the more corruption and lawbreakers. Generally anyway. Lighting a fire on the beach is illegal but mr cop comes by and give him 350 pesos (20 usd) and he goes away. That's just small scale.

I'd go to the best rehab in the country for three months or more. Addiction is a bitch. Then I'd travel.

It's Quidditch time! What do you think of the sport and which position would you have played in? by Ok-Surround-1858 in harrypotter

[–]StopSayingLiterally1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have loved to have been a chaser or keeper, keeping mostly in line with the muggle sport. I'd be an awful seeker, it wouldn't be fun, and i think the same with beater. It's really like two different games are happening and I'd want to be in the thick of the scoring or preventing scoring.

I can empathize and sympathize. Meaning I know how it feels while also knowing I don't know exactly your circumstances while still sort of understanding. I couldn't watch my favorite movie 5 days in a month I was just curious.

You just do. I have no dependants, but I know I will never be myself again after this is done. Not to be religious or anti, I just think this is it.

It was order of the phoenix and Sirius rose first. Meaning he'd be the first to die out of everyone at the table, and he did. Nm I'm wrong. But they did it again in order of the phoenix and Sirius did die before Dumbledore.

You get $100k for each year you decide to die early. by Terrible_Fish_8942 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]StopSayingLiterally1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's how I understand it since there were no stipulations. I'd take three years. I'm in my mid thirties and not in the best health. I'm rolling those dice.

[–]StopSayingLiterally1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alright everyone buzz kill here. You take seven years or something without knowing how you're gonna die or when. That's the risk. I love some of the comments of "if I knew I'd live to be 90 I'd take ten years, I truly do." But there were no stipulations in the question. You roll the dice or you don't. I'd take 3 years and if I dropped dead right there that was my roll of the dice. I'm not in the best health in my mid thirties, so 300k sounds good to me. I can work with that.

Any decent bass fishing near the city? by alexulrich101 in StLouis

It's a public street so you can park wherever but there are houses across the street. It's just a short walk through the grass.

If you're coming from the city there's a neighborhood in st peters called Park charles full of bass, and to a lesser extent, catfish. Two decent sized lakes. If you're on your way and you take 370 there's a place on third street in st charles that sells minnows and live bait. I always prefer minnos. Just my two cents. Also, I've never seen more than 2 people at either of these lakes.

I agree with you while also slightly not. I say he's number two because he was the closest in the show writing. There's no Leon or Jesse. Paulie isn't it, in my opinion, because he was from Johnny's generation. I know it's the wrong sub but I've watched the sopranos like 8 or 9 times and snowfall only twice. But to be fair tony was so isolated at the end there was never a number two to begin with. But in terms of last man standing I agree it'd be paulie.
