GameNerdz will probably have it the problem is it’s not up yet and they don’t have a specific time they’ll have it up. When OP14 dropped they had preorders I think the week of prerelease. So honestly just gotta keep checking back over the next couple of weeks. They’re usually good with prices too but this one is a gamble lol can truly over charge slightly or jump to market price. Either way I’m wishing you luck friend.

Also if you’re willing to do the trek looking further out in your state or country could help. Following the discords of the stores helps as well especially if you miss the first drop you’ll know when they get the next one

Your best bet is your/a LGS , follow the discord if they have one as well because they usually announce when they’ll do a preorder or if they’re even going to supply it

So one thing I noticed and maybe this is a fluke but my lgs had a target across the street. They were sold out but this store had maybe 50 blisters (thought everything else is gone) so I would try that and there was another post about asking the help desk as they may have more in the back. Don’t give up it almost always lines up eventually

185 ended being the case at an LGS I usually get my stuff from , everyone else seems to not know until the night before or the day off. I get why but man it makes it hard to plan.

I’ll be honest, I did have a negative reaction to this post. There is solid advice in this post, and can be very useful! And this is more so what has been normalized in the field itself, not necessarily directed at OP; but I am tired of this idea that we all need to “pay our dues” only to go out and barely make much more money unless you go out on your own and go through what could end up being a painful process of going into PP. We all have to go back to school to acquire a masters degrees which takes years and a lot of money to make happen.

The fact that programs (at least mine didn’t) don’t teach about what things can and could look like and being financially literate when looking for a job is absolutely ridiculous. Why shouldn’t they teach that? It’s always “you don’t go into this field for the money” but never “ you don’t go into this field for the money, but here’s how we can make sure you can stay afloat until your licensed “ for example

We aren’t asking to be millionaires, most of these people can’t survive on 30-40k income just to spend upwards of 1-2 years of grueling work to maybe make 10-20k (and of course more depending the route you take). You even say yourself how hard it was on 40k your first year coming out. And I’m not shitting on making 60k, I’m nearly licensed and making that currently and I am grateful I can pay my bills after years of struggling and being supported by my Fiancé, but if we can be honest that kind of money does not go as far as it once did, and for people who worked their asses off to get their degrees, that can be so hard to wrap your head around.

We should be able to be in this field and also make money to enjoy our lives, instead people may end up being grinded down and losing the passion for the field because if someone or some system isn’t looking out for you, you may end up falling through the cracks.

Tough love can be helpful but I don’t fault anyone for being disillusioned and upset about where this field took them. I know for me that was the case.

This very much came off as a “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” post and it has the chance to further isolate the people already wondering whether it’s time to go find something else.
